Is dual spec the end all be all for this game?
If they added it to Tuesday reset, are you magically gonna start clearing content? Are you going to have zero issues going forward with the game itself? Are you going to get angry at the base who doesn’t use it? What is your end goal here with dual spec? If it gets added and the game still isn’t giving you tanks and healers and good pvp partners are you going to say “welp, they added dual spec. They did all they could. Let’s wrap it up and go home.” What are your expectations? What are you gonna do when you’re swarmed with these off spec healing and tanking toons who are all in green gear and can’t clear dungeons? Sounds like fun to … Wait
Btw. Everything is need rolled now as it’s os and usable anytime all of the sudden. My tanking gear? The healer can dual spec tank now and rolls for it. Quags eye? The whole five man needs on it now because muh dual spec I can use

While I personally am against dual-spec I recognize there is potentially a majority in favor of it. However any time someone tries to make an absolute statement or tries to be an elitist by referring to their side of the argument as clearly the people that actually matter you are just going to get a ridiculous amount of backlash.
People generally don’t like absolute statements and elitism even if they agree with your side of the argument.

Was dual spec a game feature in BC?
I am fine with including it in that case. Or did we have some clumsy mechanism for awkwardly shuffling gear sets that was annoying? Because if that’s what it was in BC, that’s what it should be in BC Classic. Navigating that is part of the game.
It doesn’t resolve to a universal solution.

I dont want dual spec because I dont want to go farm out money for it. Of course that’s expecting them to release it as an amount thats actually a gold sink in classic rather than a gold sink aimed for 15 years ago.

The only thing crazier than quitting a game due to it’s lack of a feature is playing said game which lacks said feature in the first place. The whole premise is illogical.
It’s like saying people are quitting Tetris because there’s no PVP in it.
Who are these people queuing up to play an old game they don’t even really like?
People get very codependent with wow. Like someone who marries and alcoholic because they’ll “be the one to fix him”.

You would honestly think Blizzard would see it already but they don’t. They just want whales that will keep feeding them money for subpar effort and content.
Retail players buy every expansion no matter how bad it is, buy mounts and other frivolous cosmetic items no matter how overpriced they are, claim they hate everything retail but lack the courage to actually stop playing it and find a better game.
They are exactly the last kind of people you’d want feedback from on what a good game is. Everyone else with common sense already moved on to better games or are only interested in WoW during its golden age of Vanilla through WOTLK.
