Wish we had consistent rules

Feels like blizz legit makes it up as they go.

Mana burn wep? No bans

Doomwinds bugged? No bans

Soul swap bugged? Bans

Hunter pet wall? No bans

Kind of silly sorry but I don’t see a difference in soul swap or doomwinds even if one is “intentional” they both are people know it’s bugged leveling an enhance to q it is the same as cooking a soul swap

I been sayin this all along!

Tbh idk why blizz has this huge relucatantance to instantly hotfix or just outright disable a talent until it can be fixed once they are aware of it (virtually instantly from twitter and forum feedback if they dont actually play their own game)

Not many games would let you play dozens or hundreds of games to top of ladder if it was bugged/instant killing or behaving strangely. Riot would disable a champion pretty fast until it was addressed

Then again I think if they actually cared about specs within the game they would have done weekly tuning until they hit the mark and switching to bi weekly after as needed.

Including walking back halfassed pruning and class design that left a whole lot of have and have nots disparity

Instead here we are as a community with zero spec loyalty and everyone rushing to fotm abuse whatever is broken or bugged next for free as possible glad/rewards since blizz moves at a snails pace to fix whats wrong

If there is a chance a player unknowingly doing it, then I don’t think bans should go out. Unfortunately that is a lot of these bugs.

Playing a class the way it’s designed is not the same as intentionally breaking the design of something. Even if it’s lame, which I agree.

Leveling, gearing and then telling your friends hurry let’s q turbo is literally not 1% different than stacking a soul swap.

It’s even more intentional because of the work to set it up

It is. One is literally designed that way, though it’s poorly designed, one you go out of way to break.

You queued before the dk 20% nerf…

Dks should have gotten banned too.

Uhdk getting giga nerfed at the very start of a pvp season has truly been the most consistent rule blizzard has ever had.

Isn’t the issue with enh something about every bolt is a 10 stacker?

Idk man I’m just pressing stormstrike.

Comparing an enh pressing stormstrike to an affliction lock hitting a dummy and entering an arena with whatever lets them stack UA is crazy work.

Idk, most you can do is call locks/enhance/hunter players dweebs for knowingly abusing builds and bugs.

But it’s 99% blizzard’s fault for not having a shred of integrity when it comes to the game.

Makes sense when half the pro players they consult and or hire all used to sell blazing boost services. They never cared about integrity in game, doubt they do now

Ok sure but why do only some cases proc bans

Idk, probably scope, impact, is it able to be dealt with vs being mildly annoying, is it clearly distinguishable, etc

nah that was fixed, LB isn’t nerfed by 65% when fired from ascend and tempest isn’t nerfed either (idk whaat tempest nerf is but it’s smaller)

It’s crazy the MC bug is still in the game after how long.

It’s worst bug in the game. If your healer gets MC bug where they can’t press a button the game is instantly over. And it’s quite common I’ve had it happens to me many times on a healer.

I don’t think the hunter bug from a couple weeks ago should’ve been a ban. Neither current enh. But the 13 stack UA? Yes. You 100% knew what you were doing and went out of your way to abuse

If that’s the case how is it not going out of your way to level and gear an enhance shaman rn lol literally what is the actual difference

And I’m sorry where’s the rule that says I can’t stack abilities outside of arena? Is that written down anywhere?

I think it just comes to arguing intention. You can’t easily prove somebody is playing/rerolling just to abuse enh. It’s likely, yeah, but if you ban an innocent person it’s really bad

Whereas stacking UA outside of arena (what is the intention here? Like what are you doing to the dummy?) to use it inside arena, and then repeating that process over and over, removes plausibility of innocence.

It’s just how I’d view it, by no means blizzards official stance. I think intention is what gets people banned, but it’s really hard to prove that malicious intent.

I’d add that it’s still bug abusing, but friendly fire makes it hard to ban something like enh. With the UA stacking I don’t think anybody is doing that without intent, especially not somebody going from 1400 to 2500 rating in 3 days

I mean, a lot of the big name PvP’ers and even ones that are in AWC or casting stuff that were around for Cata and MoP RBG use to DDoS all the time or the ghost team bug. Why would blizzard care now?

Or all the 5v5 R1 win trading back during battlegroup days.
