This isn’t currently true, but whyyyy is it not?
BE zone is connected. Draenei zone should be too.

BE Zone has a teleportation orb to instantly teleport between silvermoon and undercity.
Draenai have to walk all the way out of the exodar, and walk to a pier where nothing is at to wait on a boat to go to darkshore. And then they have to take another boat to either darnassus or menethil.
There is also no way to safely walk as a level 1 character from Darnassus to Ironforge. You have to walk from Menethil, through the wetlands, loch modan, and finally arrive at Ironforge. Horde has a public transportation option for each of their level 1’s to make it to another major city.
Undercity has Zeppelins to Org. Org has Zeppelins to Thunderbluff, and I think Undercity is where the zeppelin is STV.
Horde can take a portal from STV to Gnomer. For Scarlet Monastery, Alliance has to walk all the way from Southshore, all the way around the west side of undercity for a safe trek, or cut through WPL for a faster, deadlier trek.
It’s all balanced.
They should be connected.
You can fly from Undercity to Silvermoon, you couldn’t do this originally but you can in classic. No reason why you shouldn’t be able to do this.
They don’t.
But anyway my point is that it’s such an annoyance to land in Auberdine, run out to the boat, wait for it, go to Exodar, then fly again to Azuremyst or whatever.
Why not just… fly over the ocean to Exodar, like they do for Darnassus?
It’s a pointless annoyance.
But there is a loading screen, yes?
The TBC areas aren’t part of the vanilla map.
So if they did connect Azyremyst by FP, there would still be a loading screen while flying above the sea. The boats make it more natural, I’d suppose.
I mean it’d be no different from flying from Ironforge to the Isle or going from EPL and below to Ghostlands (ZA).
