Can someone help me understand who controls WG? We won WG, but it is currently horde controlled. I am confused.

WG is an instance. BG like in retail due to server faction imbalance. WG buff is always on for both factions on a server but sometimes it goes away. and I don’t know why.
Wintergrasp battles start every 3 hours. Use the timeline below.
0:00 Battle Starts, people can queue.

—During this time, neither faction controls Wntergrasp.

0:30 Battle is over. As long as one person of your faction queued during the 30 minutes battle period and wins, your faction will gain Wintergrasp buff and control of a faction specific phased version of wintergrasp keep. This will last for 2.5 hours.
3:00 Next battle period starts, people can queue. Neither faction controls wintergrasp during the battle period.
I think it is bugged; I had the buff when I was in Dalaran, took the FP to WG, and when I arrived at the keep, it was gone. It was around 1a.m. server time.
I went back to Dalaran, the buff was there, flew on my own to WG and I was able to turn quests in. It was really weird.

I was on a winning Wintergrasp battle and we didn’t get the buff… where can we report bugs? Although I’m sure they know it by now.

Oh they know about it. Multiple posters and people in game have complained about it. I dont see why our servers go down every Tuesday to fix bugs and we log in and they are all still there.

Yea it’s bugged, we won the map and when I went to see the vendor it was horde controlled?! Imagine my surprise! And the vendor!!

Very often after winning WG I find myself unable to hand in the quests, like 2/3rd of the time since I usually hit the late night WG’s with my schedule. Makes it extremely frustrating to miss out on weekly quests because 2 or 3 nights in a row the 1am/4am games both bug out and give no one WG. Small indie company, hiding from the mob of actual players who want RDF behind the digital trolls assuring them they are doing the right thing and they surely know better despite never having engaged with their own product clearly.
