Wintergrasp Toppling the Towers Engineering

I posted in the bug forum but wanted to ask here to get replies, Is anyone else not able to finish the “toppling the towers” quest using (Global Thermal Sapper Charge) from engineering? It does damage to the tower, I can see the damage numbers, and we drop the tower, and the quest doesn’t succeed. I’ve tried it 4 times on 2 different characters now. I’m positive it used to work.

Is anyone else noticing this problem?

I thought you needed to do damage and be in the raid group that got the last hit? Could be wrong there but that was my prior understanding. I always tried to get the last hit myself for that reason.
