In saying that, if blizzard doesnât change something (which they probably wonât because itâs not bugged) we need to change how we queue for Wintergrasp or alliance will never receive the buff except in extremely rare circumstances.

Exactly, because they have the population to sustain that. They have enough people that multiple, winnable games for both factions are ending after the queue lockout when new games have stopped wiping the buff.

I would argue its still a bug however
IF the intended outcome is different due to unforeseen consequences ofactions then its NOT working correctly
Think of if you were to DC for standing in a certain spot, sure the player could simply not stand in that spot but that doesnt mean its not a bug
True, if the intended outcome were for factions to have even chances to get the buff. One could certainly argue in that case that this is bugged as their functionally operating system is having unintended consequences in the oceanic low population, high faction imbalance environment.
However, itâs all technically working as blizzard have implemented it. My whole goal in bringing itâs lack of being technically bugged to peopleâs attention is to temper everyoneâs expectations: Blizzard probably wonât change anything to cater to the small oceanic population. But that doesnât mean we need to just sit down and take it.
As detailed in the thread, there is the potential for a player implemented solution (albeit, a very challenging one.)

Just happened again, won game, had the buff, gone 40 seconds later.
Iâm assuming you won the game before the queue window ended. If so, then of course you lost the buff. Thatâs literally how it works. A new game opened which clears the buff, as blizzard intends.
Itâs bugged. How is a win not a win? Itâs the last game instanced which overwrites all previous wins, this is the issue. You can win 2 games but the third being OCE is almost always a 20v120 scenario and it overwrites all progress of the previous instances, even if it finished earlier. Canât be working as intended and Iâve tested this a few times now.

This is supposed to be the next 3 hour window, not the very next match in the current window. It is most definitely a bug.
I heard we had WG keep a few times last week but I only ever was able to make it in the last 10minutes before the next 3 hour window. At this rate the overwhelming majority of Alliance in OCE will not be able to do VoA. I couldnât be on to get access to VoA last week and I suspect it will be the same this week.
This is a bug, fix it. For a subscription based MMO, they sure as hell take their time with these things.

Itâs now broken for Yojamba Horde also.
I just won my wintergrasp game and we lost the wintergrasp buff we had the few minutes before
Thatâs intended. Each time a game begins, it clears the buff within that same queue window.
I know it SOUNDS like it should last until the next wintergrasp queue session in ~3 hours, but thatâs because that would be the logical way to do it. No, itâs most definitely been intentionally implemented to be wiped every time a new game starts. Please see the post below for more details.

Literally explain the US servers thing in my thread dude. Anyway, it doesnât matter cause Yojamba alliance have already put into place the plan that I ALSO outline in my thread and it is having a greater effect than we had anticipated. Already won us the buff a few times, today at 3pm being the most recent Yojamba led effort to earn it.
Youâre welcome to keep thinking its bugged and waiting for blizzard to step in. Weâre going to do something about it ourselves.
Itâs still a broken mechanic and does need addressing. I have not once seen the buff long enough to be able to use it (in fact have not seen it at all personally, but trust from other posts that it does work - briefly), have marks to purchase gear and simply cannot.
Itâs definitely appearing when it should, after we win a game past the queue lockout. It just isnât happening very often since Alliance are so outnumbered on oceanic.

I mean, it IS helping cause we just got wintergrasp again. In fact, we outnumbered horde that game as so many alliance queued towards the end of the window.
