Yes it sucks, no one likes it…feels unbalanced as hell but remember you can hop into a demo as a passenger and use the RPGG’s to quickly take out vehicles and cannons without getting interrupted.
That being said if you want to balance that BG could you at least change it so that any Workshop assaulters capture spawn RPGG’S? Having to run back south to be able to do this sucks while defenders have a huge advantage with having 2 workshops with them close to their main spawn point.
We were on D (alliance) and the horde were a well oiled machine, they took SR at the start and then took over all the workshops, they had 20 vehicles going the entire game, destroyed 2 walls pretty quick, we didnt even get a tower down, we still won lol If they couldnt win, then wg needs to be re worked hard
Lost on D once. Basically had the opposing team rush SR, get rank in the subsequent brawl, and then bulldoze the wall. Was pretty brutal. That was once
Oh you can lose on D, but you need to make a lot of mistakes. In my opinion offense cannot win unless the defense makes these mistakes, the main one I’ve seen when I’ve won on offense is the defenders overcommit to the southern towers and don’t respond when offense takes both Broken Temple and Sunken Ring.
i rarely ever come across a team that accurately uses the RPGS… hence why blizzard probably isn’t fixing anything. a team can full send RPGS and be able to win easy.
Ive won 2 offenses in the last 2 weeks and lost 1 defense. Strange times.
I have had games like that with Horde being on defense and alliance outplaying us all game and still losing .
If Blizzard wants to prove they have any sense, they will remove Wintersgrasp or completely redo it. No one would go to a sport’s game knowing there’s a 99% chance one team will win, likewise with esports.
Once you get behind on siege tanks it’s over. The defense can recover if that happens, the offense can’t.
The fix I’d like to see is giving people who join late on offense due to afkers some rank to begin with. Having half the team afk out and get replaced with players with 0 rank just makes the hole even deeper if offense falls behind.
They could also just let the random guards award some/more rank and put them in more spots on the map. That’s how I ranked when the defense wasn’t around.
