Most the time I’m easy going guy but the last two times WG pop I have been backfilled in to you all mess. the ones that like to quit you do nothing but make it hard everybody else.

I hate this BG with a passion I think more than anybody else on the forums, but I’m not a quitter and I refuse to quit. Blizzards put this sorry excuse for a BG in if they’re not gonna take it out, they should make it so all should have to suffer. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

It’s not like it was in Wrath.

Wintergrasp should be removed until it’s properly calibrated to be like it was in Wrath—and the defending team should never be able to build vehicles that are more powerful than the offense.

My sample size is very low but it does seem defense has a slight advantage. Just got out of one where horde did everything wrong on d and we still managed to win.

I really believe they need to remove seige tanks from the defense team (they aren’t used anyway) and give them a slight buff for the seige tanks on the attacking team.

No, I don’t think defense has an advantage. Due to the Towers 15% attack buff the Offense team gets, Offense has a big advantage in the early game and that advantage shifts to the Defense late-game.

Since much of the match is decided in what happens in the first couple minutes, when Offense is strongest - it can be argued that Offense actually has a better advantage.

And part of that late game Defense advantage can be countered by strategy.

It is super easy to get a sub-10 minute win as Offense, we do it all the time.

Maybe for Horde yeah, I still haven’t seen Alliance get a 10-minute win on offense

But then again there’s a lot of AFKing out that goes on if Alliance loses the first teamfight, so morale plummets pretty early if there’s a rough start

In general WG is pretty miserable experience on Alliance side, it’s better to just leave

Well if you lose the first team fight as offense with the 15% damage buff your team really has issues.

A split didn’t happen this game, we had 2 stragglers/AFKers and 1 person go to BT at the start, the full 36-37 main force went to SR

We just finished losing, ran out of time due to Horde killing towers

please remove this awful BG from the epic list.

make it a brawl and only make us have to put up with it occasionally.

is it much more entertaining to simply eat the deserter debuff and go do other content than to be on either side of a WG match.

it’s garbage.

Alliance racials are better than Horde right now, especially with Maledict being everywhere

Both types of dwarves, night elves, can just click out of it

Besides that, shadowmeld and fireblood are awesome, void elves are top 5 for casters for sure

Horde just has hardiness as a top tier racial and even it was indirectly nerfed when they removed its stacking with relentless.

If it was racials and not a player skill/strategy issue they’d win at epic bg’s more often.

with regards to Wintergrasp, I notice Alliance does a crappy job targetting healers during that first/initial teamfight

So having a +15% damage buff doesn’t really help much, since the enemy healers are just casting freely from behind the ranged line :roll_eyes:

Before WG came out I would Q up for Random BG’s just to get the CP of the day, then I would Q Epic the rest of the day. Now it is the opposite I Q Epic Pray and hope that I do not get WG so I can get my CP for the day.

This BG and all the quitters has really got me bummed out the last few days.

So I switched over to my Horde main and queued up

…I get dropped into a “winning” Wintergrasp match where Horde is already working on the second wall :rofl:

Game ended at 12 minutes, easiest conquest points ever :cowboy_hat_face:

I didn’t have to do anything or lift a finger, I just spawned at the GY and by the time I ran into the base they were already breaking down the final wall

Looking at the bg charts, I notice many of the same Alliance names I saw earlier when I was playing WG on my Alliance toon. Presumably they’re still trying to get their daily win
