Take this pos BG out of the Epic rotation. No one likes it. Its an auto deserter debuff for 90% of the Alliance. The worst BG should have stayed a brawl. I dont want to spend 30 mins in a vehicle.
You must not play epics often, because I see Alliance regularly mass-ragequit out of Wintergrasp, itās an epidemic
I myself leave this one like 95% of the time regardless of playing as Horde or as Alliance
No thanks! Itās a far better use of my time to just requeue on an alt until either AV or IOC popā¦ long drawn-out WG losses where the team is scattered all over the map/has no idea what to do just donāt interest me.
From what I see, Alliance simply gets out-killed and out-damaged by a fairly significant margin in most teamfights, so it seems harder for Ally teams to get ārankā in the first place because they generally get beat down whenever the 2 deathballs clash.
Now, how much of this sizable margin difference in killing blows/damage done is due to gear/iLvL and how much is due to player skill is hard to tell. It does seem like Horde generally focuses healers more/harder than Alliance during the big teamfights, so maybe thatās part of it.
I donāt know about that, tbh. Remember in WG the attacking team starts with a 15% damage buff that (can) shift to the defenders. From what I have seen it seems like a strategy/coordination issue.
More than that if you include ranged DPS (like him) in the passenger seat. You can freecast on the move without risk of interrupt, what caster wouldnāt like that?
I understand that itās possible for a team to have a higher or lower max vehicle count. My point is that even in the case of the maximum, you donāt have to be in one if you donāt like it.
I often see a line of people at the shop waiting for a vehicle to go down so they can jump in. Let āem.
I havenāt seen the āmass exodusā of players from Wintergrasp at the beginning or after the first team fight that others are reporting. Is this actually happening or is this another āAV favors Allianceā myth that people think repeating it often enough will make it true?
I like WG a lot. Itās fun, but it does get really annoying when I join the game late. When this happens the game is usually a loss and thereās always like 30 minutes left on the clock. 30 minutes of people running around like headless chickens, swearing at each other isnāt fun. This happens way too much for me because this BG is like such a revolving door BG. Like most of my WG are games that have already started, got to a point where one side has no hope of winning and peeps start porting out and I wind up replacing one of these peeps. When this happens I usually port out as soon as I enter the game because the very low rewards for losses in these games are not worth the half an hour wait.
I donāt know. I do look at the shift-spacebar scoreboard to get a player count throughout a match and what Iāve seen seems to support the idea. Usually after the first team fight Alliance will usually drop to 35-37 players.
One morning (low traffic time) I saw it drop to 19, I am not kidding. I was actually concerned weād get the ānot enough participants, match will end in 2 minutesā warning.
Edit: My mistake, it was actually 14. Was a pretty uneventful half hour from that point on. https://imgur.com/a/rL057u7
