Some mythic fights you have to have an instant gap closer for. There’s a reason why people don’t bring Paladins to mythic Razageth, our class literally can’t deal with the knockback.
Paladins while not having gap closers, are almost impossible to slow, stun, or delay.
You can have Charge and Heroic Leap, you just have to also be able to be snared afterwards and left in the middle of the arena to die immediately to any/all casters.
You want a Warrior’s tool kit, then you have to also be easily killed the same way.
Heroic Leap isn’t a gap closer, it’s an escape tool. Warriors can’t just run out in the middle of the open and pop a full immunity while doing it. Nor can they full heal themselves with an instant.
Oh, and lets take away any of your ranged melee abilities while we’re at it too. If you have a closer, you don’t need to have all these 30 yard nukes.

I just hope it looks as cool as it sounds. I don’t even play a paladin – there is just something cool about a paladin descending from the sky to throw down some retribution.
Also everytime they do it, I’m gonna think “NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION” everytime they land near someone and it’s going to make me giggle.
Even in Diablo Paladins get some pretty cool mobility that lets them leap around a bit. I think it makes sense, and I’m happy for Paladins.

I think it changed either BFA or Shadowlands. It no longer is off-global, but it only incurs fraction of standard GCD when used.
DKs also don’t have a full shield and self heal.
And DKs are quite a lot easier to control than a Paladin with full immunity.
If a DK can’t be snared, they can be disarmed or stunned. Paladins become immune to all.

Full shield? What on earth is a “full shield” in the context of this conversation?
Paladins become immune to all for an entire 8 seconds or whatever current bubble duration is, then can basically be forced to sit down and take it until bubble is back.

It’s okay, nobody’s really that irritated about your forum babyraging. Blizzard has acknowledged Retribution has a lot of issues that need to be dealt with in the mobility and survivability departments. I think I’ll take Blizzard’s opinion of Retribution and Paladin over yours.
