To the few players who are against paladins getting a gap closer…

Paladins remain the only melee in the game to not have a gap closing ability that isn’t tied to movement speed increase.

INSTANT, not just speed boosts, Gap closers are an essential melee tool. So it’s a crime that’s it’s taken this long to give paladins one. And incase you think I’m full of it…

Warrior: charge, HL
DK: Grip
Enh sham: feral lunge
Surv: harpoon while being the rangiest melee.
DH: fel rush.
Rogue: SS, Grap hook(outlaw)
Feral: wild charge
Monk: roll, FSK

Paladin:???

On top of this, multiple paladin NPCs have shown leap abilities across expansions. Turalyon, tirion, arator all have leaps.

So yeah, it’s about time. Please allow WoL to make it past ptr blizz.

I want hunters to get a ability that combines Disengage, Camo and Turtle into one called ‘I Don’t Think So’.

Means they’re going to nerf your damage.

Actually they’re buffing.our sustained and nerfing our burst.

And having good utility is not an excuse to not give us an essential melee tool I’m some form.

No one is saying not to give Paladins a gap closer.

The criticism is that it should be something other than a copy paste of another classes’ ability.

So what’s wrong with Steed? You can attack while steed is active .

No other class can attack during their closer.

I’m not against giving Paladins love, I just didn’t realize it was that big of an issue.

Not from what Ive seen. But I have seen that too.

As long as the animation is nice and fancy and maybe lays down a conc then it’s fine.

Again, many pally NPCs have leap so it makes sense.

Steed is not a gap closer, it’s a speed boost… A mediocre speed boost at that.

Ret is easier but alright.

You just compared a hunter to paladin and asked why one is physically slower.

Think about it, maybe you’ll realize it. Maybe not.
