I believe that Windwalker Monk’s 3% change was justified, but the damage nerf to Strike of the Windlord makes WW nearly useless. Playing at a high level, especially in solo shuffle, WW monks are always targeted first and are melted. It becomes a game of the monk blowing someone else up before being blown up themselves. Buffing Tiger Palm and Blackout kick does absolutely nothing because a monk will never live long enough to utilize this. With all of my defensives popped at the same time, I am still killed by a fury warrior or rogue using no offensive cooldowns, this is ridiculous. If the team wants monks to play more for sustained damage, they should buff either Touch of Karma or Vivify’s healing to allow a monk to stay in the fight for longer than 3 seconds. Otherwise, monks are useless with these new changes.
Same with ENH

The only thing viable we had , the only thing that we were able to win round is nerfed.
Meaning ENH is only good for PVE now.
I mean we were nerf what 4 or 5 time now on the same ability with the spender ?
They just want to be sure that we are ground spec C tier like every XPAC.

I agree the one shot was too much. Make our sustain better then, because they did not do enough to address that. Now we are squishy and hit like a wet noodle.
It seemed to already be good and it’s being buffed.
Disable root, ring, fists parry, disarm, diffuse, dampen, port, return port, fort, karma. Sure, pressing just one of those often isn’t enough, but there’s a decent chunk of buttons to cycle through.
Uh… They buffed blackout kick and tiger palm. That’s more sustain right there buddy.

Anyone that plays monk in PvP rarely uses blackout kick. You build chi with tiger palm, then do some damage with RSK and FoF, then run away while they are on cooldown. This change is useless.

120k-170k with skyfury … meaning bye bye skyfury you’r now uselsss and that a CRIT also … our base FULL MAELSORM biggest ENH hit will 60k-90k non crit…
and still people will get a 90k and say one shot still ?
Yeah the nerf is pretty cringe and lazy. 15% on tiger palm that does like 2k damage is
now like a 300 damage buff, doesn’t compensate. Does not address the thunderfist issue so we will still be globaling. Not worried just more so disappointed with how blatantly this shows that blizzard has no clue what they’re doing and not spending any time to figure out why classes are strong.

I agree with your take- but at least WW was squishy. Some others have gimmicks are/were tanky as heck.
