they need a damage reduction nerf. getting hit by slicing winds for 3.5M noncrit is crazy. Getting globaled is not a fun gameplay. And its out of nowhere too, WW are not supposed to be the best melee.
P sure that title is still held by feral and rogue and likely always will be due to the relative level of control.
Ww is broken, though, and will absolutely be getting pve nerfs that bleed through to pvp.

Cjl may catch a pvp nerf as well, but I dont think itâs too crazy in pve.

Well, there is no logic at all for him not to be the best melee, he, like a war, is dependent on the melee zone and has only 2 controls.
I wonder if a good nerf to slicing would be to have it do more damage the longer you load it up. So keep the damage as it is now with a full charge, and make the single charge melee range empower weaker. That way it wonât be as crazy if someone wants to use it short range purely for damage, but will have to overshoot their target(or aim well) for max dam.
Nah, I think that making the QoL of an ability worse for balance reasons is always a bad idea. You shouldnt have to make something clunky or counterintuitive for it to be good.
Nerf the two high damage abilities and they are fine.
I think the concept of charging up an ability for larger damage is intuitive, a la a the Evokerâs Fire Breath upfront damage, or a Plasma Pistol from Halo. But thatâs fair! The lunging component of the ability throws a bit of a wrench in that concept.

I think evoker empowers are fine and make sense (although fire breath does the same damage on up front vs dot regardless of charge, holding it for longer just makes it do more burst for less dot instead of the opposite).
The lunge would often be more inconvenient and arguably worse by holding it down.

WW/Lock/MM/DH are broken AF, I hope friday night brings good newsâŚ
Lets not forget Frost Mage mobility, CC, Stuns, Slows, infinite blinks, 2xIB, alter timeâŚ
WW damage is still overtuned, regardless of everyone farting out slows these days.
