Will you ride the Darkmoon Faire roller coaster?

I flipping LOVE this idea. An instance or a scenario, either way, fun house themed, characters dressed up as clowns and monsters, crazy mirrors, moving floors, things that swing down and hit you etc, I would love it!!

Would you mind a Darkmoon Raid / Dungeon?

Here’s something that I’d do… Have a one room dungeon for Darkmoon Faire to start off. Have a circular room with a centre piece that raises and lowers during the event. Now when the middle is lowered the boss is attacking players with various abilities. Then the boss disappears and the middle section raises to show a statue of him/her. While this is happening the room is rotating at a slow-ish pace. Around the walls are extendable panels which will randomly spring forward hitting players in th…

I don’t see the point of it. I can wait in a queue and hop into an instance on the merry-go-round but can’t do that on the roller coaster until it finishes otherwise I won’t zone into the instance.

First off… HOLY COW! An actual functioning Poll on the GD?! This is super cool! Wonder how much use this is going to get moving forward. Really freaking cool to see though.

Also really worrying, has anyone tested to see if you can vote on multiple characters or if its account wide? Really need to get the multiple character bugs fixed (IE mass liking on other toons and mass flagging on other toons) but I digress… ITS A FREAKING POLL ON THE GD! THIS IS LEGITIMATELY BLOWING MY MIND RIGHT NOW!

Seriously, as someone who has been on the forums for a very very long time, something as simple as this is absolutely awesome to see.

Anyway, picked other as my option, and my reasoning for this is…

It doesn’t stack, it’s just the same buff so you can get it either way.

Boooooooooooo. I mean, don’t get me wrong I am absolutely going to ride the heck out of it over the merry-go-round but still… Is it really so bad to be able to get two separate “whee!” buffs upwards of every hour 1 week out of the month? Is that extra 10% really going to make or break things that much?

I am excited for something new, something fun, but I honestly feel like that’s kinda a bummer. Heck, even if Blizzard does not want to stack the 10% bonus, at least make it so you can increase the buff duration to 2hrs by riding both, one after the other or something.

Its a very minor complaint on my part but I feel as though that is kinda a let down. Not going to ruin the game for me or anything, just kinda a bummer.

Well for me it is work actually, but that’s not what I meant to say at all there. Just saying that there is so many other things I’d like to do in this game that I just can’t find time for.

Like achievements, mount collection, pet collection, transmog farming, leveling for heritage armor, leveling challenges etc.
These are things I wake up thinking about but by the time I log on realize that I just enjoy doing stuff like mythic plus, raiding and progressing my max level characters so much I can never really justify spending time on those things, even though I would be having fun.

It’s like, having fun for player power that helps me improve as a player > having fun on a roller coaster.

Yeah I agree. Plus they took away the 200% exp potions which is a huge bummer to me. I was hoping this little thing would stack.

In that case I can see where you’re coming from but funnily enough I have the exact opposite problem this expansion (well. Not from too much to do, it’s the same in that respect). I tell myself I’ll work on current content and my characters…

…but then I go off and grind old content in hopes of expanding my collections, anticipating the next series of collection achievements. Plus I really want my dinosaur.

These are not the changes most players want. The feedback is crystal clear about the changes needed. Portals and darkmoon faire toys arent good content.
