Will you ride the Darkmoon Faire roller coaster?

Is watching your avatar ride a virtual roller coaster more or less boring than mashing 3 buttons in an Island Expedition?

Science demands an answer!

And they already stated that they pulled people off and cancelled a future raid tier to produce this based on player feedback.

Mmk, source or you’re spreading misinformation and trolling. And no, “Because I think so” isn’t a source.

If you’re being sarcastic of course, then I fell for it.

I can only speak for myself, but riding a virtual roller coaster is of no interest. Same goes of other aspects of the game like Pet Battles and Archaeology.

Not sure you will find a scientific answer to why people like or dislike anything.

maybe if I"m there sometime, but not urge to run right over.

Best thing ever enjoy at darkmoon is the chieftan’s concerts. Used to go to shattrath to hear them. /shrug

Darn TOOTIN’ I will!

Where did they say that? Because if its true then its so wrong. No one cared about a roller coaster over fixing class balance/design or azerite or rep grinds or flying or pvp vendors.

Same feeling here.

If I could make a suggestion for DMF… Add a special cross faction brawlers arena there.

They’re joking. The roller coaster I believe was done by a single dev in their spare time… from what I’ve heard at least.

I honestly get sick driving curvy roads, being in the back seat isn’t an option. So for riding on a roller coaster is a recipe for losing my breakfast.

I’m going to try it and just look away if it gets to me.

Yep I got got then. This always happens…

I get motion sickness easily IRL, so gonna see if this has any effect on me or not first lol
Does sound more fun though than riding in a circle over and over on the carousel.

The last time I went to the DMF was to get the Blazing Wings toy.

I think I’ll probably go and check out the coaster, and give it a ride or two so that all the hard work that went into creating it doesn’t go to waste. But, beyond that, I don’t think I’ll be traveling to the DMF every time it’s up just to ride the coaster again.

Can we separate the buffs into different stacks, then use them and not get banned? That was a joke. Seriously, I love that you are adding stuff to mix things up… Same old same old gets boring after a while. DMF needs love more often than other events because of its frequency. A few new pets for other events is cool for the once a year stuff, but it’s always the same old collect this currency. I’ve seen the evolution of DMF and I think you all are spot on with the updates over the years.

I’ll ride it once you grant flying in Nazjatar, Kul’Tiras, and Zandalar.

If there is a reason to. Otherwise I’ll forget to go to the faire like I usually do.

If I remember it’s there, I’ll probably pop in to see it.

I seriously doubt I’ll have an affinity to fish heads.

I’ve been looking forward to trying out the roller coaster. I love the Darkmoon Faire ambiance and it’s just neat to see the trash littered on the ground and fireworks exploding overhead. (Looks even better if you turn the sky dark with the potion sold in the forest).

This place was helpful when I needed to grind rep. There are Darkmoon Faire NPCs that stand in the center of Dalaran, offering to port you directly there for 50 silver. If you have the Dalaran ring, it is super easy to refresh it every hour and hearth back to whatever you were doing. The buff works on war tables and emissaries so it’s useful, but not critical to have.

This place makes me long for a goblin capital city. You know it’d be a casino with all the Las Vegas and Reno blingy bling. It would be a major upgrade over Undercity!

the carousel gives the buff faster so nah, wont be riding it.

Nope. Just a quick go on the carousel, then back to the grind.

I’ll ride it, if it is faster to get the WHEE Buff than the merry go round.

Otherwise, I’ll ignore it like the rest of the Darkmoon Faire.
