I made a Kul Tiran Druid and the whole drust theme they have is really cool. They acknowledge the death portion of the life cycle, while most other druids seem to focus on the renewal and growth/life.
It would be really cool to see more of this side of Druidism. Maybe even some drust armor or shapeshift forms?
I know only KTs have them, but maybe we could get race specific werebear forms? Or maybe KTs could teach other druids about the drust side of Druidism?
Idk just some ideas, but I would really like to see more of the drust theme. It would be really cool to have a darker side to druids

I feel like shadowlands really undercut / dismantled all the cool world building they did with the drust, which is a shame.

Iâd kill for some druid armorsets that are modelled after the various hags all around Drustvar

Unlikely unfortunately suspect the rushed and confusing Night Fae renown quest line will be the last time theyâre mentioned

Man I wish. Their whole vibe is so damn cool. Itâs a big part of why drustvar is my favourite zone. Among other things.

I didnât know that. I never did the night fae renown because all the classes I played never used them as a covenant.

Forgotten/scrapped idea # 132. Donât worry tho: Blizzard has lots of time for a third dwarf race to make up for this. In fact rumor has it for the expansion AFTER the war within we are getting void dwarfs so, your welcome.
For reference of course:

If shadowmeld wasnât so OP for feral, my Druid would 100% be KT for the drust forms.
Ugh. I have such an immeasurable amount of disappointment for earthen.
I just wanna be a spooky drust Druid

I donât think Drust are druids. Itâs more related to death than life. Itâs necromancy related to trees and nature.
I would love for them to show up in Midnight. I think Drust fit in perfectly with Ghostlands.

They are explicitly tied to the autumn and winter cycles of nature, as well as death and decay. There is necromancy elements, but it is less perversion of nature and more following its end cycle to its conclusion.

I guess autumn would still qualify as âlifeâ. Winter is usually the season that represents death, which is the Winter Queen and Ardenweald. Drust seem like a total perversion of these ânatural deathâ aspects of Ardenweald, as it was shown in SL.
Just to clarify, I donât think Drust and Kul Tiran druids are the same, as much as they have a similar aesthetic. I guess if Ardenweald and Kul Tiran druids qualify as âDrustâ, then sure, but the way I interpreted it, Drust have to do with Gorak Tul, the âdeath witchcraftâ practiced by those witches back in Drustvar and their realm of death that I forgot the name.
Straight up if they ever put in a 4th dwarf race I am done, that will be my straw.
I thought they might show up in this expansion. The Gnolls rot magic is very similar.

The Drust had a pretty cool backstory and I loved the feel of Drustvar. It is probably my favorite zone âfeelâ and if we could build a player home in the world, I would pick that zone.

I really wish those forms had been for all druids. Its one of the only race specific forms I really want. And they go great with the MoP swamp style set.
If I could play anything I think it would be an Arakkoa druid of the Drust. Instead of the normal Boomkin go all out witch theme with a quest line like the green fire for warlocks.

I wish Blizzard would repurpose areas like this for the holidays, put in a few more storylines each year. I send an alt through the Drust areas every fall.
I wish they would explain (weird code ?) why they âthrow awayâ all their assets each expac.

Gorak Tul is still out there somewhere, biding his time.
