The special hunter pets in the Emerald Dream are surprisingly drustlike.
I really want more darker zones. I enjoy the gloomy rainy zones, sort of sick of sunny bright zones.

If they do add Undead Shamans and Druids I hope they would go with a Drust like variation

This is correct.
Basically the original Drust were Vrykul. Gorak Tul used the power of Thros to grant them power over death magic, not just through Druidism.
Some of the Vrykul didnât follow this path and were not corrupted into the Drust we know today. The uncorrupted ones are the Thornspeakers. Druids who focus on the death portion of the life cycle.
Thereâs only 1 living uncorrupted Drust in the game. Ulfar. And we never see him outside his Drust bear form.
Iâm not really interested in the corrupted witch side of it, more the thornspeaker side. The end of the life cycle, and how it joins back to itself as new life, albeit in a slightly spooky way lol

Yea, I guess the witches feels more appropriate for a Necromancer class. Perhaps alongside a spec based on Rot (Gâhuun) and another on the Maw, maybe?
Anyway.
I guess a Kul Tiran Druid fits a little bit of that fantasy with their forms. Thereâs a certain lack of Drust themes in most new druid forms, yes.
An alternative for darker themes for Druidism would be the Nightmare. The red-eyed skin combined with some Forms and the Satyrâs shoulder can do wonders if you enjoy it. In terms of lore, though, it has been a while since weâve seen Nightmare-related stuff.
Shadowlands was the âbig revealâ that we got with BFA with that arc. Awesome they ended up just being tainted masks, a quest chain, and some daily quests. GG
Next expansion after war within is totally gonna be about the blood trolls, the drust, decaytriarch, and toddy whiskers joining up to destroy the planet.

Ardenwald would have worked great as a end-station for whatever happens to stuff in the ED.
Had something dedicated to residual nightmare stuff, as well as fire-nelves.
More drust stuff.
And obligatory troll zone.

If we did get a drust expansion it would be a great excuse for a drust werebear.
