Warriors and physical damage itself, will they counter something?
All healers facetank me, priests tanks me more than any other healer.
Rogues tanks me more than warriors.
Physical damage means nothing.
Some time ago warriors used to counter at least DKs, but for some reason they are not a target anymore.
Warriors have objectively the worst slow in the game.
Fearless is a talent in the right direction, but will it be enough?
Nobody knows the meta that’ll develop in Midnight. Especially with the removal of certain addons meaning PvP will be a little more skill expressive which Warrior has a fair few tools to play with in both supporting their allies and opening up kill conditions against the enemy team.
Warrior will still most likely be reliant on team work, which they never really were a solo class in any version of the game. Not that this is a poor weakness to have as you’re almost always in a coordinated group setting in the rated pvp that matters.
what i mean by counter is like:
The weight hunter have over mages and the weight mages have over warriors.
Warriors threatens no one.
Warrior threatens everyone though.
Our CC kit is largely untouched compared to everyone else who lost multiple gap opening abilities on casters/range so they’re going to struggle with a warrior up in their face. So we’re in a solid position in this department.
Our ability to force kill conditions with Sharpen Blade is still somewhat unique in being a full strength MS effect rather than the halved PvP mod of 25% for mortal wounds itself.
Sure it’s a little more telegraphed since it’s been hard locked to the first MS post CS rather than it being a separate ability but it still packs a punch when used correctly. Pair that with Arms having a shorter CD cadence than other classes have defensives to trade for them means you’ll be able to put on more pressure in the next CS window when they’ve already used them on your previous one.
Shattering Throw is also unique in that it stops immunities (block/bubble) so a well timed shatter always does wonders in putting fear into the hearts of those it effects. Wrecking Throw also helps against absorb defensives if there’s no use for shatter.
It’s not honestly all doom and gloom from a warrior pov, yeah there’s still aspects that need fixing in the class tree, but overall we’re looking.

Bro once again you’re wrong. It’s a niche pick that wins games against immunties, anyone who says otherwise has zero game sense.
Because there are other synergies to consider in team composition. Not that retail’s got any creative players left on the topend that actually trailblazed the meta instead of following others like mindless zombies.

Warriors toolkit is going to be pretty dam amazing in midnight, considering that mages got huge pruning and warriors basically didnt to that level, i think mages are the one thing keeping warriors back in PVP so by default warriors will just be stronger next patch. My warrior is going to push 2k rated im thinking about playing it
i hope so. having a upper hand versus at least 1 class I would appreciate it.
There is no point in arguing with him, he doesn’t know how to do anything but complain. he’s all over the BG forums whining and complaining non-stop there as well . I don’t know why he even plays the game , or at least warrior if he thinks they are so useless.

Warriors are currently the best class next to warlocks in the beta, the utility is amazing you are not gonna be up against at least 1 class warriors are the best lmao of all specs unless they get a random prune which is highly unlikely gonna happen.

idk man we lost 2 root breaks, 3 if fury and mountain thane wont have any root breaks.
I’m not saying warrior is gonna be bad at all. I just think people don’t appropriately value how good the root breaks were. There’s a reason gnome is already so highly represented for this class specifically.
