You seem to think that questioning everyone in a passive agressive manor about thier opinion is somehow āengaging conversationā, and when you canāt grasp the most basic common sense factor of what they are saying, you spin it and ask some ridiculous question. I say I am in favor of ban waves, and you ask why I am not in favor of ban waves since in your little world, ban waves appear to be an annual event that encompasses thousands of accounts.
I point out it can be a daily, and even weekly event, and you gloss over it solely to make some half page long post breaking down comment by comment. Pretty sure you people only break out posts cause you are incapable of just making one solid response and have to section it out so your brain can digest what you are responding to. So, back to the topicā¦ then could do a ban wave daily for each area needing a ban and make it a weekly event until the problems either resolve themselves or vanish.
Iām trying my best to keep up but does anyone genuinely believe they should be banning people for not staying in failed runs that arenāt listed as completion? That just seems ridiculously punitive to me.
In some runs Iām the problem and I donāt care if people leave when I am. I wouldnāt want it otherwise in that run. It will only make them hate me more if they are forced to stay.
Botters have already said they know when the ban waves are scheduled so they just prepare their new accounts to continue the botting after the āban waveā
No one should ever get banned for leaving. But if you are SO competitive that you leave EVERY. SINGLE. KEY. cause things are going sideways, then you (not you specifically) are the problem and should have a premade group in comms. Elitists need premades for their egos, and then people who queue with randoms are already prepared the key might brick. But if some schmoe is too lazy to make an M+ team, and just leaves key after key cause things are not going their way, that person SHOULD be banned. Not from the game, but from the content. If they can log in to play, but cannot do Mythics, that sends a bigger message.
I agree but I think thatās the approach that Blizzard has also taken and through my anecdotal experience I am not convinced that itās such a problem that it needs ātokenā suspension waves just to make it seem like they are acting on it. Clearing out the detritus from time to time is totally enough of a solution for this problem.
Back in shadowlands we used to lookup players raidio profiles, if we saw that individual had all perfectly timed keys we knew that player would leave the key if it wasnāt going well.
