Blizz needs a way to differentiate between someone leaving a +13 that obviously won’t time and someone leaving a weekly no leaver 7. Leaving the 13 when it’s clear nobody is going to get IO makes sense. Leaving the 7 and screwing 4 other players out of their vault should be bannable if you do it repeatedly.
I am sure if players engage in toxic behavior they will endure another wave of bans.
You correlated the leavers in your group to frequent leavers. You did
Irrelevant.
When?
“other games do it”
" Can you list a single one with similar gameplay?"
" No my point is irrelevant".
I agree.
You guys feed these trolls every time lol
The feature is justified in the same way as it’s justified in games like Overwatch or League. Gameplay wise, these games are very different, but by being team games that can be ruined by leaving/non-participation, they share the same reason to have penalty for leavers.
What matter isn’t whether there’s an enemy team on the other end, so being PvE is irrelevant.
Incorrect.
In those games if you are on a bad team it quickens the state of the match. It will end sooner rather than later.
In WoW, that does not happen. A bad m+ group will not end the run faster because they are bad.
This fundamental difference marks you either ignorant or a troll.
We explained this to you before. So it’s not ignorance. I was hoping you’d have a new point. You don’t . So I will move on.
This is also irrelevant to leaving/non-participation.
I told blizzard this was a bad idea; you shouldn’t hold players hostage in groups. Players leave for a reason either they don’t want to waste their time in a failed group, or they’ll stop joining mythics all together as it is not required and optional.
Luckily they aren’t. Every time that I’ve felt the need to leave a dungeon, which is not often, I’ve simply left the dungeon. Blizzard hasn’t and won’t be banning people simply for leaving runs. It needs to be a pattern of repeat and deliberate griefing of groups.
Leaving runs when it’s clear that they are doomed or when something important comes up is not going to get you suspended. They like not killing their modes and losing money.
Between people exaggerating this issue in every way possible, its pretty entertaining.
I really hope that’s the case, because as adults, we should get to decide whether we want to waste the next 45 minutes stuck in a failed dungeon and should not be suspended for it.
If I had some staggering number of dungeons left I might be concerned but then I’d probably have reason to be concerned and might need to consider not deliberately griefing groups.
But if you cant deliberately grief groups, that means I AM A HOSTAGE in every group I ever join
Legend has it there are still people in groups that started the day they made this change. Just waiting for one person to leave so they can as well.
If you leave that many dungeons you’d probably also be fairly pissed off and not want to do any more for a while.
I heard they are now starting a bed and breakfast in vermont
Yes players shouldn’t be forced to waste 2 hours in a failed dungeon group.
I think people leaving that many groups over actual failure would probably hit this stage before getting suspended. It’s the ones that were doing it for fun that they wanted to curb.
