It could likely lead even more into cosmic forces. I highly doubt the midnight will actually involve serious void and light stuff. Mostly just small forces on Azeroth.

The announcement included a hope that it would be setting up the next 20 years, so the intention is clearly to keep going.

I think the Doomsayers can take a long vacation. We won’t be needing them for a while.
