And you we got a very lengthy long spectacle of her supernatural trial and judgement… Not sure I ever seen anything like it for others…
When she comes back, because she will at some point when her people need her (like mention), it will have a bigger impact than any other leader in WoW to Horde fans.
Sadly this will also bring a debate too… but the Horde fans will always have the counter argument: “She paid for her crimes, why haven’t your leader pay for theirs?” (IMO or I think it might go that way probably more aggressive and funny like: “Your just scare etc etc”)
Also Vol’jin return will be interesting for sure…
However I could be wrong and they just bring her to reveal Baine or Jaina as 2nd or 3rd Generation of Dreadlords specifically created for long infiltration missions (joking, well kind of as I do see Dreadlord as a DH Elite Stealth Spec more than a race) or some other short cameo… depending on how the story goes with the Unification of the Elves and specially with the Forsaken. (IMO)
I hope we get that outfit soon. I’ve started leveling a B.Elf Hunter with the Dark Ranger skin tone. Going to farm up the book for taming undead pets to match the theme.
bruh if someone is calling sylvanas ‘mom,’ ‘mommy,’ ‘mother,’ etc., they are already part of the problem and exactly why her return is gonna be rancid. and i don’t just mean because she’s a corpse.
past her expiration date, both as a character and an elf.
And will inevitably be met with “What she did was horrendous and there will never be enough penance to make up for it” for an answer. I can already see the 200+ posts of pedantic bs that devolves into semantics.
I want my Warchief back.
Guilty as charged. See, you could have a much better view of her as a character if you changed your attitude towards her. Starting by calling her momma, for example.
Seriously though, her arc should have finished at ICC, but her popularity was too big, and now we are here. Since she’s a Horde character eventually they’ll put her in a coffin for good, and when they do I seriously hope its something that can bring her story full circle, like successfully defending Silvermoon from a void invasion.
I can’t always predict where the future of the story is going. Having said that, there are two things I’m fully 100% convinced on.
Sylv will return in Midnight to yet again defend Silvermoon City.
Sylvanas will die, probably along with Alleria, defending Silvermoon together.
There is literal foreshadowing of her returning, despite it being a flashback, in Alleria: Light and Shadow. Blizzard is not missing the chance to bring Sylvanas back to defend Quel’thalas. Period.
Oh they won’t, its too good. The concept is great, it’s the execution that worries me. Blizzard has a track record of having both knife and cheese in hand, to throw the cheese away and shove the knife in their butts.
listen, i understand the appeal (cf. my feelings abt orc women). i even liked some of the forsaken content from cataclysm. but after wrath, all her screen time was because she was popular, not because she was relevant, and i just don’t think she remained compelling enough to take attention away from the actual forsaken, who could’ve used more development then than like ever
Well I’ll agree with you on the part that the forsaken should have gotten more screen time. They still do, actually. I would’ve loved to see a bunch of boney people faffing around with the nerubians.
Her arc from cata through legion was very interesting. She was a much better and more dynamic character by the time she burned Teldrassil, than she was at the end of ICC.
Are we sure that wasn’t just a glorified Mass Heal spell? A lot of those soldiers were clearly injured before the shot of anduin pulling off his little spell
