Yes, but they should give us their drip in return… all of it.
Considering the story you have to justify how that wasn’t retroactively the sanest thing to do.
Sounds like results-oriented thinking to me.
Everything you originally knew, but later learned was wrong, was actually right, but for reasons you would originally have thought were wrong, but with the benefit of hindsight, you now realize were actually very good and right. But also, this plot development is coming from an unreliable narrator, so you’ll want to proceed cautiously in jumping to conclusions about who is right or who is wrong.
Now, quickly, go kill this very important monarch of a new non-player faction in this new raid so that you can loot the body, which will have an item that starts a quest chain revealing that you shouldn’t have trusted my narration or killed this monarch. Muwahaha! What you originally thought was right, but later learned was wrong, and only much later learned you were originally correct about, was something you were wrong about!!! Prepare to be amazed as I take my place as the next raid tier’s boss!
…
We thought the “war within” was a reference to fighting a battle inside the planet. It’s actually just a reference to the war within Blizzard’s writing department trying to stick with a coherent story.
If you’re talking about Rastakhan, the Alliance and Horde combined should have already destroyed his kingdom after the events of Cata (teaming up with the Gurubashi) and MoP (allying with the Mogu).
I actually didn’t have anything specific in mind, more of a joke about where things feel like they’re going in the future, but the fact that you thought of a potential example makes me feel even better about my post.
Killing the monarch of a new non-player faction to loot his body is what did it.
that’s lie right?
Yea but they should join the Alliance. Pretty sure near enough to 100% of us already has their tabard on at least one toon.
Japan and Germany are real world precedents. The Venture Company were pussycats in comparison.
they’re not a country though but a corpo.
lol I hope so my entire warband is scarlet crusade themed. The scarlet crusade is my favorite faction in Wow. I hope they reform. I’m also hoping for scarlet crusade themed housing items.
Do the arathi know what happened to mograine? Pretty sure he was after their disappearance but the sentiment in the original crusade aligns well with the arathi, so their incorporation back to the surface world could work out as a redemption arc for mograine (for his father) and the crusade forming a more just following of light based necromancy.
They’re the WoW version of notzees.
in classic you have to collect their “red armbands”
Same with centaur in DF… Annoyed me so much
Blizz has definitely gone weird on some of that stuff. He creative and create new decent allies.
I don’t think everyone should be or needs to be redeemed. I don’t know why Blizz does this so much.
Give it enough time and we’ll be paying $15 a month to play World of Peacecraft: Where your character stands in a circle singing peaceful songs, decorating goats with flowers, and the only real threat is what type of cake you are going to bake for Arthus’ birthday
I wouldn’t say they are like that. They were corrupted by a dreadlord but other than that their cause is just. They could do some awesome stuff with the arathi empire. I can’t wait to see more of the arathi in the future. I really hope scarlet crusade joins them.
That was the original inspiration classic is filled with references to that.
And that was pre-dreadlord. The dreadlord thing happened in cata.
The dreadlord thing was how they were founded in the first place lol
