Yep. Wings is lovely. Macro’d to an on-use spell power trinket you’ll be taking 50% of people’s health in a HoJ.

Why just mages? Devour is an 8sec CD. Dispel magic for Priests of all specs. Purge for shaman of all specs. Avenger’s Wrath is going to be cleaned off every PvP ret the moment they press the button for the rest of the expansion. But, it’s lovely when it lasts.

cries in 2 global cooldowns before being able to hit Right now HoJ takes the global + resets swing timer. So you’d be looking at global, global, possibly auto attack delay if not timed right.
Screw this global on cooldowns. This isn’t BFA. I get that they wanted to break macros (I guess?) but it still feels awful, even if HoJ was always (can’t recall) on the global.
Yes we will have wings, it will be very fun.
Once you HoJ you wait for the Global and then you use whatever macro you set up.
AW doesn’t cause GCD.
Judgement doesn’t cause GCD.
Divine Favor doesn’t cause GCD.
You can still use AW + Trinket + Judgement + CS + Auto Attack as Ret instantly.
As Holy you can still AW + Trinket + DF + Judgement + HS instantly.
It won’t stay up for long, but your high burst macro will still function.
And then you will become the focus of everybody because you can’t bubble or bop for the next minute. I really wish AW didn’t cause forbearance.
It’s in crusade so of course they will have it. Too bad the shadow wings for priests aren’t in this game.
That’s why you do it in a HoJ
