Looking at the requirements for the Ichabod Harvest Golem pet, we have to gift two subs. Prime Gaming gives you a free one. If we use that, will it count towards the two subs gifted for the pet?
I don’t think so, because you have to use the free Prime gaming sub for yourself. You can’t use it for someone else, therefore it’s not a “gift”.

I would agree with Cyntaria. I don’t think you can gift the subscription you receive from your Prime account.

Yes, that allows you to subscribe to a channel, but it doesn’t allow you to gift and as far as I know the promotion you are referencing requires gifting a sub.

Oh… then I guess I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing for this event, then. LOL I don’t watch Twitch, so I have no clue about these things.

I am not good with this either. Apparently from your Twitch account you can add a payment method. Once you do that you can do quite a few things such as gift subscriptions to people. The idea being if they get a gift sub they may continue to watch that streamer and be a part of that community.
It helps the streamer out stats and money wise, and is a neat means of building a friendly group who like eachother (normally).

I watch a few here and there, but mostly Critical Role, which is what I use my Prime sub on.
I haven’t looked over the entire promotion you are referencing but if it is like the one Overwatch did for the Brigitte skin, when the promotion is active you’ll gift subs for specific streamers.
If you are on a streamers page, click on the subscription option on the channel and there is an option to subscribe or gift. That should bring up a menu or how many you want to gift, etc… and then once you have them you select who you wish to gift to (usually one of the other users in the channel).
Definitely doublecheck the promotional dates and details before gifting though, you want to make sure it counts for the promotion.

It’s understandable if you’ve never done it. But it’s really not going to be confusing when the time comes. It’s an easy process, so long as you’ve properly linked your Battle.net to your Twitch.
