With the coming trilogy there’s a chance Silvermooncity will get a well deserved overhaul, would yall populate our elf city like it used to be?
I pretty much seeing SMC with people gathering at the taverns or plazas for casual RP or just to gaze around.

I’m very intrigued! It’ll be interesting to see if Silvermoon becomes a neutral capital, or if there’s an Alliance and a Horde capital established within the bounds of Quel’thalas.
My money’s on the Void Elves getting that zone north of Eastern Plaguelands, that’s never been unlocked.

I would not be cool with a neutral Silvermoon at all and I don’t want any Void Elves even slightly near the Sunwell.
But uniting the elven tribes was mentioned during the presentation I guess so we’ll see.

Total seriousness, Silvermoon deserves to be a Neutral City. I legitimately miss it as a RP hub and general hang out spot. I wanna chill out and shoot the breeze with my fellow Elf Enthusiasts again.

Only if it gets a major visual overhaul to make it stop being obnoxiously red and white with huge featureless walls and a weird giant bowl in front of the dumb palace.

I’m fine with SMC and even the Exodar becoming neutral cities, both races have a long and established habit of both working together and having a much broader world-view of their allies and enemies, especially the Draenei.
But no Ren’dorei around the Sunwell. I know, I know, your heritage, but you go anywhere near the Sunwell and we may have a repeat of the same debacle that Alleria caused.
I’d love to see the Ren’dorei rebuild around the Exodar, with the Draenei and Lightforged Draenei there to balance them and help protect them if the Void Lords start whispering to them again. Likewise, seeing the Exodar as a place of religious discussion between Shamans, Druids, Priests and others and forming strong bonds to stand against the Legion, the Old Gods, and other threats from the Great Dark Beyond, while the promenades and galleries of Silvermoon serve as a hub of trade, arcane theories and political intrigue could make for a rather tantalizing revitalisation of both regions.
If Quel’thalas and the Exodar both become neutral, that would be a pretty good Alliance revenge because we would get the much better deal.

I am fully predicting the neutral capital is going to end up being Quel’danas given the mission statement of Midnight does appear to be ‘Defend the Sunwell’.
So, I do feel it makes sense that your neutral HUB would be the island it is on. Also, it would basically be the same as SMC being your hub, but without removing a horde capital because… lol? I guess.
Touching on this a lot more seriously, Void and the Light are two equal and opposing forces that turn into each other and cannot survive without the other.
The only Ren’dorei who might be banished from the Sunwell is Alleria. The others might get dipped and convert that Void into Light, creating Organic Light-Imbued Elves, as opposed to the artificially created, and high mortality rate, LF Draenei. Done gradually and with an eye out for unwanted Void chicanery, this could allow the full unification of the Elven peoples.
Restoring the Sunwell with the Light was a silly idea. Bring back sucking on fel crystals. You can’t destroy them all by simply taking a stroll nearby with void corruption!

I took a break for a few years, when I last played everyone was in Silvermoon.
I come back now there’s no one there most of the time. Everyone just hangs out in Valley of Honor… compare that to Moonguard Stormwind and it’s really sad.
Kinda miss everyone chilling in Silvermoon.
Quel’Danas is even already neutral, mechanics-wise. We had a BIG Dragonflight launch event there in January with both factions.

They can rebuild Quel’Danas and it can be neutral elf city. Just keep all void outta the Sunwell and we’re all good.
With the new appearances for void elves allowing for complete removal of void colored skin and hair, is anyone RPing that their void elf “recovered” and isn’t voidy anymore?
