That’s not what people are asking for. The issue is that Blizzard is obligated to make a product that appeals to at least a critical mass of players that then allows us to go out and form groups in a reasonable time.
They’ve annihilated m+ this season. There aren’t enough players interested in the product for the remaining players to find satisfaction. That is 100% on Blizzard.
And just you wait. The two announcements yesterday, Blizzard is doubling down on the tankbusters. The datamined changes to Motherlode and Theater of Pain show we’re in for an even worse time in S2. I don’t know what the f they’re thinking.
This is a social game, sometimes you need to be social to play it. Blizzard gave you content to play if you do not want to be social and if that doesn’t satisfy you then sucks to suck I guess.
A large part of what gave the game its sticking power back in the early days was the dependance on being social to get anything done at end game.
And the community was generally nicer, because access to content was part of the reward for being able to play nice with others, and your reputation mattered.
Yeah its a lot for what you pay. Though I am still working on figuring out how to convert Twilight2000 sheets to 1E Dark Conspiracy, having a rough go since I cant find any tutorials. That’s probabpy one of the top 3 VTTs I have seen though.
I pretend mythic plus does not exist. Game is so much better without it. Luckily with DF and TWW, Blizzard has given me enough to do now so that I never have to enter that trash pile ever again.
One secret is the reason Legion and BFA worked better was that people were chasing gear and not just IO when ´´pushing`` because of how the loot systems work.
One of the big disasters is this affects even the bad players. I remember helping bad players in Legion and BFA on tanks because I was fishing for specific item, and in theory said item could TF even in lower keys. Even if said item didnt drop, in theory I could get another item with tert stats + TF too.
There’s many contributors to the TWW queue simulator but the most obvious one to me is not enough tanks/healers
Luckily over the last two expansions Blizzard has doubled down making them the hardest/most stressful roles while sapping the fun out of them.
Healing and tanking in my opinion should be the easiest roles. Why not? worst case scenario we have a bunch of people playing tanks and healers for free rating? sounds great.
They also need to bring fun to these roles, people love doing damage. Make healers and tanks hit hard.
The most tone deaf change i’ve seen Blizzard make was nerfing dps trinkets on tanks, getting a really good dps on a tank was probably the most fun button you get to press.
Most of your friendslist offline because they have no friends and have to pug? Seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Have y’all considered playing together?
