I lost my pc so i won’t be able to play wow at least until the SL ends
No, your account will always stay as is, as long as it is secure.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your PC, Morghr.
No, we don’t delete a WoW license simply because it is inactive, so the account is safe.
Note that any active auctions or mail you may have will delete after it has expired, but any active characters you may have will remain how you left them.
As Kozzae mentioned, you’ll want to make sure your account is secure, so making sure the email you use for your Battle.net account is secure with a solid password is a good idea. I’d also recommend attaching an Authenticator to your account if you are able to. The Mobile Authenticator is free and you don’t have to log into the game to use it, as long as you can log into your Account Management page.
You’ll want to cancel your subscription if you have an active one, so it does not continue to bill while you are unable to play. If you have trouble canceling you can contact our support staff and they should be able to help.
I recently resurrected one of my old accounts and none of my characters were there.
I, for one, do not believe you Blizzard.
I’m not certain why you believe I or “Blizzard” have any reason to lie to you, Gilnandria. Especially when it would be rather obvious if we did, assuming you were right.
Are you certain you reactivated the account with the characters you were looking for? In all cases I’ve ever seen I find that the account you think you are activating never had those characters to begin with.
If you can give me some character names/realms, maybe with class/race/level, I might be able to help find it.
Do you happen to remember the name and server by chance, most likely they’re still there, unless you deleted them, or it was on a different server, or even account.
To follow up, based on the name on this Battle.net account, plus location and IP, it looks like you have at least one other Battle.net account with a WoW license on it.
That license was last active in May of 2018. It has 5 characters on it (which are pre-level squish). The levels prior to the squish are:
Level 110, Gnome Priest on Wyrmrest Accord
Level 64 Gnome Death Knight on Wyrmrest Accord
Level 60 Dwarf Warlock on Wyrmrest Accord
Plus 2 other Death Knights 57/56 on Stormrage.
Note: The characters on Wyrmrest Accord were deleted, which is common for some folks to do before quitting the game. You can restore them with the Undelete option.
Since you appear to have created the majority of your characters on Wyrmest, my guess is that is the account you were actually looking for and it seems that you created a new WoW license in July of 2020.
Now, I am not able to post account specific information like the email registered to the account but I can provide a hint to help you find it. The email provider you have listed is not one of the more common ones like @gmail, @hotmail, etc… Both the provider and the email starts with a K.
If you wish to recover that account I’d recommend contacting our Support staff and providing what information you can (account name, character name/realm, etc…). We may be able to transfer your current WoW license onto that Battle.net or vice versa. Keep in mind, any account-bound achievement, pet, mount, etc… will remain with the source account so that will be something to consider.
I hope that helps.
