Will I run into issues starting WOTLK at lvl68?

I’m getting really tired of levelling my Druid and just wondering if I am going to run into issues when I start WOTLK?

I guess my main concern is I will be forced to grind or I will be forced to find a group to do a dungeon in order to reach lvl80. I just want to jump quest to quest

No, WotLK is designed to get you from 68 to 80 with the quests alone.

You don’t even need to do both borean tundra or howling fjord. Just pick one and follow the breadcrumbs.

There are an excess of quests in Wotlk. Most people are hitting 80 in Zuldrak with 2 or 3 zones untouched.

Nah you can always go 2 levels under to the next expansion, no worries at all.

Still carries over in retail today, Shadowlands starts at level 48 as a 50-60 zone

If I recall the mobs in the first zones are 68-70 mostly (just like the ones in TBC start at 58-60), so suitable for TBC newbie/quest gear 68-70 types to get rolling. Current 70’s with any sort of full epic/raid gear can easily skip the first WotLK questing zones if they really wanted to (might help/minimize avoid the mad rush in the beginning).

Can confirm back in the original Wrath, I did all zones in order and hit 80 exactly in Zul’Drak… then I kept going for loremaster.

Perfect, thank you
