Get above a TL2 again? I used to be. I have been very active on the forums lately. I have had some great conversations and met a new friend. I have done a lot of reading and thinking. I have joked. I have laughed. I even politely debated.

Get to trust level 3 by…

• Must have visited at least 50% of last 100 days
• Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
• Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 500 topics
• Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 20,000 posts (both starting posts and replies)
• Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.
• Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
• Must not have been suspended (including forum suspensions or in-game account actions of any Blizzard game)

Unless you have recently experienced a forum penalty, and those wear off after 6 months, you proabably just need to meet the goals required to maintain TL3. Those are posted on a sticky in General. Those do decay over a 100 day period.

These are the goals. A mod might be able to state what you need.

I missed the post in General. Do you promise some of these wear off? I’m not confirming or denying anything, and I have never been abusive.

I’m also getting the feeling taking some time off has hurt me a little, and I’m not talking being given a vacation, but just stepping away.

It does. You have to maintain your TL 3 status over the past 100 days. What you did 101 days or 150 days ago does not matter. Your threads visited, posts read, and likes need to be kept up to date for the most recent 100 days.

The penalties do stay on the account, but after 6 months you can get TL3 back again.

That seems to be one of the major factors. It looks like you’ve only been here 19 out of the last 100 days, so you’ll just need to make sure you check in more often. Beyond that, it looks like you are short on posts read by about 11k.

Thank you for helping me understand this. I seemed to have enjoyed my TL3 for so long that when I lost it, I was confused. I can’t help being a tiny bit of a troll, but I really try to be pleasant about it. I will strive…gulp… to do better. That, and it seems I have some reading to do.

There were also a lot of us that had TL3 for longer than we should have due to a forum bug. There were many, myself included, that essentially had permanent TL3 due to this for quite some time.

It was resolved in the last couple months, creating a lot of confusion for those that suddenly lost it. You may have been part of that as well.
