I guess my experience has been they leave the av battle as soon there is a sign of them losing or OMG premade
I stopped queuing AV in classic the minute I saw it was worse than AV in retail

Yup, I queued up on my warlock…36 minute queue right into a alliance premade full of rank 10 and above…lost in 7 minutes…logged off and waited for BFA servers to come back up. I’ll log back on to classic tonight for our weekly raid and then log right back onto retail. When (If) Blizzard fixes that cow dung of classic pvp I’ll consider playing classic more. Right now I’m actually enjoying retail again.

It was funny seeing these players claiming allaince was going get run over
I am sure it’s going change and there is ebb and flow .
For now I am done with classic . Like I said before. Ran into players who run away on even odds and only want to duel
