For those unaware, Draenei Priests were given a racial named “Symbol of Hope.” The ability boosts your MP5 for 15 secs on 5 minute cooldown.
Since they’re homogenizing the Paladin class for Horde and Alliance, they’re going to do the same for Priests as well, right?

Elune’s Grace?
Desperate Prayer?
Feedback?
Does this mean Alliance Priests will also get…
Devouring Plague?
Shadowguard?
Touch/Hex of Weakness?
Consume Magic?

I get the argument here, but this change equalizes paladin dps heavily between alliance and horde. The difference in class is one thing but this change is pretty common even on Pservers because of its sheer imbalance. If I had a choice I would have said no changes, fresh server, but this change is the smallest of my worries.

That alliance gets “seal of blood” is needed unless you want even more unbalance in pvp, and the factions in general…
And since you bring it up, should all racials also be open for both factions ?

Priests are in no way, shape, or form in a bad spot in TBC. They do not need others racials to be effective. Lets also not forget, Seal of blood/martyr is NOT a racial. Its a faction based class spell, which did give them a significant boost over the alliance counterpart.
You can’t compare apples and donuts.
SoComm is burstier which in some comps is better than seal of cut yourself.
Fearward should be cross faction, End story.
Errrrrrrr so is fear ward and any other priest spell. Fear ward exists on draenei and dwarves defeating your bias.
None of the faction-based spells Horde Priests have coincide with Alliance Priests. It’s both faction and race-based.

I’d really like to know how giving 1 class 1 extra spell is going to do anything meaningful for faction balance.

Because Seal of Blood was the biggest offender and a 15% dps increase over SoC.
Yeah, and Seal of Vengeance was more effective while tanking.
The point is that Paladins are homogenized in TBC Classic. Given that, Priests should be too. It’s gotta happen now or we’ll be on unequal footing.
