Pretty sure 10man gear gets moved to H+ and 25 man gear gets moved to 10man

Yes, this is my understanding as well.
I believe it’s additional drops. Like 1 possible 10 man drop plus normal loot, and 1 possible 25 man drop plus normal loot respectively.
NO 25 MAN LOOT WILL DROP IN THE HEROICS. IT HAS BEEN STATED MANY TIMES 10 MAN LOOT MOVES TO DUNGEONS, 25 MAN LOOT MOVES TO 10 MANS and 25 MANS GET MORE LOOT.
Where? When? Random forum users and end users deciphering datamined info aren’t a replacement for patch notes

So apparently my use of the word “respectively” was missed in the reading comprehension quiz.
Yes, that is what I referred to by referencing the changes to loot distribution in 5 mans and 10 mans, respectively.

Well for one the Devs already did interviews going over all this stuff and many content creators have already covered this. But for those of you who live under a rock go to this video by WillE at 6:20 and IT LITERALLY SAYS WHAT I SAID ABOVE. WillE got this info from the interviews the devs have already done publically…

So an interview with a dev is not official to you? I have an idea for everyone how about you fire up PTR right now, go into a new heroic dungeon and literally test it. Because it is active RIGHT NOW and they MADE IT ACTIVE TO TEST THE DUNGEONS.
In OTHER WORDS YOU CAN GO LOOK RIGHT NOW AND CONFIRM . Or you can sit here talking to me like you have any foot to stand on.
If you want to prove me wrong so badly then get on ptr find out the info I have shared is incorrect and then come back with evidence.
If not I would just keep my mouth shut and sit in the corner like the idiot you are.

How does a fresh character get to the appropiate gear level for doing ulduar 10 man.
I would assume no one will be doing 10 man naxx.
Well for starters, 213 item level is 10 man Malygos or 10 man KT loot. Not sure what makes you think the dungeons will drop 226 Gear as that is the 25 Man Malygos and KT loot item levels.
Crazy you think its smart to talk down to people when you in fact did 0 research before making your comment. As it has been stated many times that the upgraded dungeons will be designed to drop loot equivalent to 2 tiers lower than the highest content. So if math is hard for you lets do some right quick…
Current content will be Ulduar
2nd highest tier will be 25 mans
3rd highest tier will be 10 mans
2 Tiers lower than current tier is 10 mans.
ALSO it has been started many times that they are UNSURE if they will make the 10 man hard mode Ulduar loot drop in dungeons when TOGC is the current tier.
I mean reading is hard, but if you try it then maybe you will have some good info to use when trying to make someone look dumb.

No, any dev interview is about the equivalent of spitballing. Until it’s on this website, it’s not set.
It’s cute you think I’d load up the forums while sitting in front of my PC. But again, given that PTR is still subject to change. Definitely more concrete than the interviews, but unless bosses are dropping 100% of their potential loot, I’d still say OP is asking a valid question.
Suggestion for you, though! Take a breath of fresh air. You seem very stressed about this subject, and look to be cruising for a forced vacation if you’re not careful.

But they are only offering 10 man loot. To do Ulduar would you not need 25 man naxx loot?
A fresh character would be hard pressed finding a 10 man naxx. Even more difficult without cross realm. Its hard enough right now to fill 25 man naxx raid slots on some servers.

No no, Heroic+ dungeons should be dropping 10m P1 loot as the primary catch up, and 10m P1 raids should be dropping 25m loot.
So you should now be able to get many more chances at powerful P1 pieces.
Ulduar also brings us more crafted, badge, and honor gear, so there will most likely be many people who never step foot into Naxx, still getting Ulduar gear.
You do dungeons to get 10 man loot. Then you go into a 10 man for 25 man loot.
I doubt you would be the only person doing this as some alts still need 25 man loot before Ulduar.
