From what has been shown so far, its already leagues more finished then Shadowlands and BfA combined -after- their final patch. The only thing that might make it a dumpster fire is the main story, though so far the side quests and little details all look good

I’m excited, the systems in SL were mostly announced before release and I thought it would suck, and it did. The information coming out about DF makes me feel optimistic about this one!!

What’s your criterion for being or it not being good?

Not perfect? one aspect not being good? Your favorite part being good? A pet peeve or project that they put in or didn’t?
Player count? Crashes? Queue times? Story? Questing too easy/hard?

I bet you every player will have a different answer.

Prepatch is always an unbalanced mess because we’ll be over geared but no longer at level cap. Scaling will be all over the place.

Sure but prepatch is when you can get a general feel of your class and DF is set to launch with no more big changes. Essentially, prepatch sets the mood…

Then again, legions prepatch was great and season 1 sucked hard…

There are usually unannounced changes that players discover when the expansion drops. So it isn’t until after that that players really know what they got.

If you wait 2-4 weeks after the honeymoon period ends you will find what players really think about it.
