one constant on these forums is that people love to look into the future and foresee ‘worst case scenario’.
if you’re the sort of person who allows speculation and premature judgments to spoil your perception of a game that isn’t going to be released for two more months, then pulling the plug on the forums will fix that.

there will be plenty of people out there, who haven’t visited the forums once, who simply see ‘classic’ and ‘launch’, and nothing in between.

I was thinking of the cross-realm grouping they said wasn’t going to be in. I haven’t seen anything about CRBG I got the 2 confused.

They shouldn’t have CRBG - Vanilla pvp was great before then. You chose a server and you played against that server. No one queueing? You’d do something else. It was part of the community aspect of the server-life.

But now I will be labeled as a troll again by some one and dang it. I was being good!!!

Honestly, I have very fun and great memories of rivals that where in my battlegroup. This isnt going to be like LFG and Sharding.

Considering phase 2 will be around 4 weeks after launch, no I think we will be fine.

I remember people from my battlegroup too… but that’s not what I signed up for when I started playing wow. I liked making friends and enemies on my server, and going out in the world and seeing someone who was a rival and wpvp them. It was a great part of the game that’s gone because people cba to wait for 10 people to queue for a BG.

You are over exaggerating that point. Many things killed the community and game we once had. Not one thing alone.

I loved all that part you just mentioned too. Many of us do. But CRBG in Classic with the smaller server count and probably smaller battlegroup count should not be bad.

And today if you want to make friend and such you know there will be server Discords and probably Battlegroup discords too.
