they were discussing it on one of the streams i was watching during the stress test… I believe it was StaySafe or TipsOut… It may not be accurate, I’d be a little worried if it is full blown true
Layering that hard on limited servers will be all kinds of a mess
History has shown, with them this deep into the beta… AND removing the bug report tabs in the last stress test… that they’re working with a client build they’re willing to accept shipping to Live…
Then repair the fallout/issues as they present themselves.
I don’t think it’ll be dead at all but I also don’t think it’ll be an explosive success.
It’s a niche market and those who are into it will love it and stay. That’s my opinion.
Some stuff needs to get ironed out, yeah, but even so, I have been absolutely loving it.
Wandering around, grinding, leveling professions, reading the quests and taking them in. Plus meeting and grouping with folks.
I love spending all that time. The gratification isn’t instant. In fact, it’s downright drawn out but I enjoy the process; the journey.
I’m guessing there’s a lot of folks, maybe even most folks nowadays that prefer quicker results but I’m certain there is a base of fo.ks who love the time, effort and reward oriented classical mmorpg experience that WoW Classic is delivering.
I think the latest stress test was PURELY for stress testing. I don’t think dealing with bugs were the main concern when they literally shut down servers to cram multiple people into a few servers
