I want to transfer a Character from an account I no longer use, to my main active account.
This character is the only character in my first ever WoW guild and I don’t want to leave it as my GM passed away and I want to keep it in memory of her.
If I transfer my character from one WoW account to another (both are under the same blizzard account), will I be removed from the guild?
It should, yes, not sure if that has changed since I did it a few years ago, but it did remove the character from the guild from account to account, even on the same server.

I assumed as much but thought that might only happen when transferring servers.
For what it’s worth, I recently transferred a bunch of alts from Draka to Suramar (the two realms are linked), and even then they got removed from my own guild. Thankfully I have great guildmates who helped get them invited back!
So that character is the only character in the guild? I wonder if the system would even allow the transfer, since it would leave the guild with no members.
Would it be possible for her to create a character on the main account. Get invited to the old guild. Make the new character the guild leader. Then transfer the desired character to the main account. Then invite that character back into the guild? It’s a little convoluted, but perhaps a little GM assistance could make that possible.
If you are a member of the guild, a character transfer would automatically remove you. If you are the guild leader, you will have to transfer leadership or disband the guild in order to transfer between accounts (a Guild Transfer would allow transfer between realms).
That would be my suggestion as well. If there were no other members available, assuming they were the guild leader, they could invite a trusted friend and promote them to a rank that could invite, and have them invite an alt which can then be promoted.
Sorry, but CS wouldn’t be able to assist in the management of a guild.
