Will blizzard take a new stance on the abusive chat issue?

Their response to you more or less confirms it; there is no reason to even go to bat against what you said if his original post were earnest, he would just have to say “sorry that happened to you, but Blizzard should be looking at reports closer.”

Or something to that effect.

I immediately called them out for targeting the PVP community and pointed out that pretending this is exclusive to pvp is a lie plain and simple they then confirmed that I was correct this isnt a strictly PVP community issue. the reading comprehension here is really really bad.

Like I’ve had bad experiences all around with all forms of content.

However… I’ve had the most bad experiences PVPing… so I just don’t do it.

If someone is gonna scream slurs / insults in my chat I’m going to right click report them. If there’s basic communication of “go here” or “go there” ok w/e that’s fine.

In M+ I’ll just brick a key and right click report someone if I go into a pug and they treat me like I’m dirt.

Actually, with what I’m now saying above, I’m clarifying that the PVP side of the game is REALLY toxic compared to other sides. Sure it happens in other sides… but you all need to get your crap together.

This statement he made was completely debunked by staysafetv a year ago bud. He received an automatic week suspension immediately from reports. Zero gm involvement

Yes it does you are correct.

as a fellow BG player since TBC, I’ve seen and read it all in BG’s.
You are swimming against the currents.
But let me say this, I read the entire thread, and I see a pattern. Your responses are condescending.
Is this what you are doing in the BG’s?
What are you trying so hard to prove, that you are right and if you are then what, you expect something to change.
This is Blizzard’s game, and they owe you nothing. The TOS is enforced at their discretion, and if it is unfair, it is what it is, what further actions are you trying to get out of this conversation?
Are you trying to extract something from Blizz, maybe some kind of capitulation, because you can forget it.
Peace man!

And did you read the rest?

No.

There’s no way you read that in the 5 seconds it took you to post that.

A person being condescending doesnt mean they break rules also why are we hyper fixated on ME this is a general topic about the issue not my issue.

Yes because Ive seen you post a lot and know very well you didnt join this in good faith. So I really dont care to read everything you type.

PvP is even toxic in FFXIV; competition breeds frustration, the onus is on the players and the host of the event (or developers, in the case of video games) to police behavior in extremes.

To YOUR knowledge. You cant go off what someone says on where when it comes to account actions man. The story is always murky at best.

Someone claims only A and B happened. Yet the conveniently leave out C. C changes the dynamic of what happened

And I went through your post history. It’s full of jabs and insults at other players.

for example.

This isnt to my knowledge its literally on youtube lol…

If it’s on the internet it must be true?

That bums me out, because imo PvP is the most interesting and dynamic endgame content we have.

But it has attracted a toxic element who has been allowed to run wild for some time.

Glad you linked that, that player spent four seasons and entire expansion griefing others because he could and never saw a second of consequences.

I don’t really care about your PvP drama.

Its documented on a video for anyone to see. You can try to twist it any direction he is on world of warcraft gets reported by a group of people and is instantly banned. Video proof> your heresay

Probably in more colorful language, which is where the problem is and why said suspensions keep getting upheld.

Oh it’s super bad.

I’ve also seen a friend of mine, that he puts it all in his discord for us to laugh at people / add them to ingame ignore, of people putting out slurs.

Mr.Beast had “video” that was supposedly real. Yeah it was all faked and stretched.

Care to link the video here you’re referencing for the class?

See if X means ability or position that’s one thing… but what if X is player name?

This is true. Thru most of the game you are expected to win nearly every time. Maybe you wipe a few times on a new boss but you eventually get it on farm.

In a good PvP system you will be losing about half the time. Forever.

There are a lot of players who are not very well equipped to process a loss.

100% This

I have seen SO MANY wow videos of crap that never actually happened. Including an instant ban on Sodapopin back in the day. He was eventually called out on it and later he admitted he faked the video on a private server. He didnt care that he had to admit that. WHy? He already had the views

When it comes to the internet and youtube now days you have to take things with a grain of salt. Especially when it comes to streamers. This is these people JOBS now days. They do it full time. Will they fake something to increase their bank account? 100%
