The oribos portal literally saves you 1-3 minutes and I like to believe most of you have your hearth set to Oribos already. As for the book, fair point, but with the exception of the handful of classes that get their legendary of choice through world bosses, I can’t imagine most people struggling to get their leggo of choice.
Except mine’s set to my covenant sanctum so I can just pop in to quick-check my missions table… and no, I’m not putting that stupid app on my phone for it…
Id imagine they are already working on the skip sl is a dumpster fire of ideas that might have played individually but combined rage worse then a grease fire.
With the overall reception of this expansion so far, and how long it’s apparently going to take them for 9.1, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if work on 10.0 was happening as we speak…
I don’t think you get the right to complain when you actively avoid a very simple and easy solution like that then.
There are other reasons I have my hearthstone set there, so it’s a moot point anyway…
They generally begin planning for the next expac 2 years prior to its launch and most expacs last 2-2.5 years, so yeah, they’re probably working on it now.
You know that app tracks you right part of the deal they harvest your contact and such. Why on earth anyone would just blank face take an app with no thought is beyond me.
I think our worst fears are coming true. I suspect you’re correct. This has WOD 2.0 written all of it. Of course Blizzard has the PR department ready to go with covid protocols and the shift in resources being a major factor in development time, and to some extent I think we are all understanding of it, but what terrible timing. For this to happen to the expansion after BFA, what a freaking fail.
GOOD… let it turn into the actual sandbox zone it was SUPPOSED to be… let the focus be on HAVING FUN EXPLORING IT INFINITELY and then coming back to it AT ANY TIME, or at least something closer to that model, instead of “Fill up that damn eye for your currency then GTFO”… literally the ONLY thing in Shadowlands that I am more upset and bitter towards Blizzard over than I am with how Torghast turned out at launch, is how the Maw turned out at launch…
Think its just going to be the one “zone” the jailer pulls in basically the argus 2.0.
Honestly wouldn’t even be surprised if they did that. Or maybe they’ll direct a new cut scene where the jailer becomes our ally and tells us about the next expansion’s threat while we get thrown into a sandbox island like mechagon or timeless to pass the time collecting new resources or some nonsense. Mind you, I LOVE sandbox zones, but I can see 9.1 and 9.1.5 being it for Shadowlands lol.
Unpopular Opinion: They should just add to the Maw… PERIOD… no new raids, no new dungeons, just Maw Maw Maw but BETTER… make it what it NEEDS to be… let us be ACTUAL Maw Walkers… THEN I won’t mind the forced title as much, instead of /slapping every NPC who calls me that… yes, I have gone Night-Elf-Karen on Jaina for calling me that…
I’d be happy with that too! There’s no reason the Maw can’t be vastly improved upon. Strange times in WOW.
Strange times in general, 2020 was a **** year… why did it also have to be the year I turned 30?!
Idk tbh. I just don’t want to login because the whole endgame just feels… discouraging? I mean i have a 227, a 220, a 210 and a fresh 189 (after 16 hours of playtime on her) so i’ve done content, i just don’t feel engaged with the content?
I don’t care for lore, i hate questing, i don’t do world quests, anima isnt a concern. I’ve actually been logging in just to do archeology for a weapon i can’t even use for the only spec i play and it feels bad. I know thats a me issue, but this is the first time an expansion has felt like this to me and i can’t even point at what it is thats throwing me off shadowlands
PVP balance really sucks too because of the covenants, and trolls kicked me out of a BG before it even started because I went to a vendor for like 3 seconds, so I’m pretty much fed up with PVP and just working on keys now… if nothing else, I’ll have some valor saved up, maybe it’ll help during the next patch… Blizz can always find a way to **** something up though, so who knows…
That’s called burnout my dude. Most folks get it late into a patch when the meaningful content is done and gone.
I guess i’m trying to spice it up by learning a brand new class, but getting 1400 in 2s on my priest yesterday while she was 175 ilvl was the most miserable thing i’ve experienced yet at least she got a 207 weapon from the vault today so hopefully that helps a bit
Honestly can’t stand playing Priest, especially going from Mage to that. Being that squishy and that immobile just makes me want to pull my hair out.
