$45k? Wat? Starting salaries for masters in most software engg. jobs are 100k.
What are senior game devs getting these days? Full stack developers are 150k+, depending upon location.
Stack more Intellect, fellow Hunter. Nobody in California is getting paid what they’re worth. At Blizzard, that would mean Bobby K. has to go hungry. =[

I think you meant Bob and his unpaid intern.
They hire all the time and sub out development to private studios ALL THE TIME to meet a deadline. This happens to be the most lucrative product they have. Retail lost a huge number of users and the number don’t lie about other MMOs.
However many like myself loved the original WOW and TBC and to a lesser extent WotLK. Tho many would argue that WotLK was the crown jewel of three? I’ll leave that opinion to you. We won’t be leaving any time soon.

What makes you think they have 10? I’d love to see the full list. I don’t think we have ANY dedicated staff. They’re probably part time between full retail shifts.
It would take a lot to convince me that anymore than a single unpaid intern is at work on the Classic project.
