You aren’t blizzard and you know what blizzard is. If enough people actually wanted it, they would put it in the game the same as the other dwarves. no new nothing. The closest thing to a dwarf as a new allied race I would accept is vrykul. I will not accept a third dwarf.
When they announced Dark Iron AR, I had hoped they’d give them fire druids.
oh ho! We got a fighta here! We as in the fan base, not as blizzard!
How about we just enjoy getting them as part of Dwarf customizations instead of needing to unlock a whole new AR.
Ah, but when shadowlands comes, we may not need to “unlock” AR anymore.
Irrelevant. No Wildhammer AR no good.
Unique like Wildhammer yes!
I kid.
The Bronzebeard get their Core race. The DID get their AR. The Third clan gets left with nothing? Thats not fair. They deserve the AR.
A mighty fine dwarf ye got there!
I appreciate your input.
Wildhammer as an AR would likely have Druid.
Unlocks going forward appear to be story based only. I’d rather we get the AR.
Old ARs. Assume that new ARs will need to be unlocked as per usual.
They may just make them story based unlocks after the relevant expansion is over. The legion race ones were technically a part of BFA, so it makes sense that they’re removing those restrictions after BFA is over.
Yeah, we the fanbase are basically the game directions… Thats why we’ve NEVER had a expansion we didn’t like because we make it.
Nah Blizzard is trying to be good now. I believe they’re trying to make sure we don’t have to do that thing everyone hates.
You look vaguely like a yeti. I don’t mean that negatively. I kinda like it actually.
What’s that now? You speakin english cause I can’t understand this? It is not wrong for fans to request the race they wish for an AR. Are you trying to troll us? We dwarves don’t like no troll now.
We have four varieties of elf, (six if you count trolls) a third dwarf isn’t going to hurt anything, still it’d just be difficult to justify making an entirely separate AR when what is being given to Dwarves via customization suffices.
Given to IF dwarves. Its just tatts. They need to give the Wildhammer proper. Without the racials to go with em its just cosplay.
I love Wildhammers, but I’d just add one more class and an extra set of voices for every core race and call it good, personally. I don’t think Wildhammers are justified as an AR with their tattoos being added to Bronzebeards.
Human: Shaman, Stormsong Voice
Dwarf: Druid, Wildhammer Voice
Gnome: Paladin, Low Pitch Voice
Night Elf: Warlock, Highborne Voice
Draenei: Rogue, Sinister Voice
Worgen: Monk, Posh Voice
Orc: Druid, Calm Voice
Tauren: Rogue and Warlock, Grimtotem Voice
Goblin: Monk, Smooth Voice
Forsaken: Paladin, Reverberating Voice
Blood Elf: Druid, Deep Voice
Darkspear: ----, Amani Voice
Darkspear are the one hole in this plan
Are racials all that matter here? Really? Wouldn’t it be better to push for a Wildhammer Heritage set that Dwarves can get alongside the Bronzebeard Heritage Armor to signify them?
pfft! A dwarf cosplayin’ I need more brews to accept that one!
We need ta have a hammah tossen contest with other wildhammahs in front of IF! As wildhammahs of course!
Nah, we just want ta be respected as true wildhammahs, not those lazy boggart IF dwarves. We wildhammah likes action more!
They need their hammahs! And something to do with gryphons or it ain’t right.
Though I really like this idea honestly… add in the a set of racials to add to this list and I’d probably take it.
Nah The Racials, the Heritage, the mount, the lore. I want it all. I just simplify it when I’m going quick. Sorry.
When my Wildhammer is made and ready in SLs I’ll find you where the DID mole machine pops.
I give up, there is simply no way to convince you that Dwarves getting Wildhammer customizations will be enough.
Probably.
Though Honestly Twinkletorch has a good idea. Add Druid, and voices that work for Wildhammer, plus add in the racials and thats most of what I’m going for… I could live with that.
False.
Original Dun Morogh voiceover:
The stoic Dwarves of Ironforge spent countless generations mining treasures from deep within the earth. Hidden within their impregnable stronghold of Ironforge Mountain, they rarely ventured beyond the wintry peaks of Dun Morogh. Recently, however, the Dwarves unearthed a series of ruins that held secrets to their ancient heritage. Driven to discover the truth about his people’s fabled origins, the great King Magni Bronzebeard ordered that the Dwarves shift their industry from mining to archaeology. As part of the Grand Alliance, the stalwart Dwarven armies have been called away to battle the merciless Horde in far away lands. In these perilous times, the defense of the mountain kingdom falls to brave Dwarves like you. The spirits of the ancient kings watch over you and the very mountains are your strength. The future of your people is in your hands.
Specifically mentions “Dwarves of Ironforge”.
Post-Cataclysm Dun Morogh Voiceover:
Great change has come to the enduring halls of Ironforge, obsessed with the working of the Titans, the dwarves retrieved their creator’s mystical tablets from the fabled city of Ulduar. Activating one such tablet King Magni Bronzebeard fell prey to a terrible curse that fused his statue-like form into the diamond heart of Ironforge itself. To compound this tragedy, Magni’s estranged daughter Moira arrived, claiming her father’s throne for herself and for her infant Dark Iron son.
To avert civil war, the dwarves created the council of Three Hammers, an uneasy coalition that would share power equally amongst the clans. Now, with political upheaval rising within the Kingdom, and the great Cataclysm ravaging the surrounding lands, the future of Ironforge falls to brave dwarves like you.
Again, specifically mentions Ironforge. Also mentions the Council of Three Hammers, a coalition sharing power equally amongst the clans. Two of those three clans are playable races in game, right now. Why not add the third?
