Yes, it’s a guild effort.
The weapon buffs the raids dps by alot, much more than the ret wielding a real 2H.
You’re still arguing here trying to justify yourself. You were probably one of the paladins that got steamrolled by everything in the game.
Put your dress back on and heal like a useful little pally, and leave the damage and killing to classes that can actually do it.

How many times do people have to point to the Spelladin build? It’s a VIABLE Ret paladin build. The downside is that you do need more consumables, but once you get full t2 you are pulling about 1.1k to 1.2k dps.
Pre-bis (Which is entirely blues) is about 600 or so DPS.
So for those who are asking for buffs to Ret? None are really needed. Spelladin not only does really good dps, it’s also able to buff AND heal too.

More so than you most likely.
That’s not the point. People want to clear it fast and efficiently and rets don’t do that. You can argue all you want about how you can bring 10 rets and kill rag, and as correct as that may or may not be the fact of the matter is this game is MIN/MAXed and majority of guilds won’t allow that many rets. Atleast one not swinging Nightfall.
Thankfully classic will have a lot of retail mythic Raiders. We can avoid fire unlike private server players.

People keep saying fast an efficient but they need to actually sit down and do the math. Adding each hybrid adds a matter of seconds to a boss fight in most cases.

I don’t think getting “enough crits and command procs” counts as a 1 shot…
People who think ret paladins won’t get spots in raids haven’t done their research. Myself going holy for raids and prot for dungeons, I’ll dislike competing with rets for gear, but there’s no doubt there will be a decent amount of rets and they’ll get their spots.
