Why you should not care if Rag is downed in week 1

Oh because blizz wouldn’t validate or invalidate that claim? Uh huh. The game was huge and growing. People were becoming “wow famous” by doing things like this. They destroyed the known world record and just didn’t bother.
Yea. I’m going to need some boots. It’s getting deep in here.

:joy::joy::joy::joy: not be cliche…but pics or it didn’t happen.

LMFAO dude Joanna made a living selling his guide if people were beating his time by 20+ hours we would know

Nothing like being on a fresh server and being one of the highest level characters… absolutely zero to minimum competition in every zone you go to.

I didn’t even know about Joanna till after TBC. I was too busy playing WoW to even go on the forums.

If you are going to make up stories about your vanilla experience, at least make them believable.

As an Orc Rogue I 1v6ed the best rogues on the alliance and won. Believable or not there are a few ppl who are heroes+champions like that. Ty orc racial rng… lol

Ppl would line up to try an beat me in a duel just to say they beat x person in a duel and they all failed. I don’t/didn’t like dying in WoW… My rep was important to me as I was known as the best rogue on the server.

If Rag is downed the first week, does that mean he won’t be available for others after that?

No?

Then I don’t give a [censored] if someone downs him the first week or not. Not impressed by someone else’s epeen, just mine.

You think you do, but you don’t.

you dont need to be level 60 to kill rag

A timeline of new realms means absolutely nothing. I believe he was asking for a citation for the Rag kill within a week with less than 40 players not all of whom were 60. Nice cherry picking though.

For me its about showing an interest, being engaged and excited for the prospect of a week 1 rag kill. I care because I think it would be very challenging to do, is not something I am willing to dedicate myself to but am all the more supportive of those who do take it on because of that. Its like cheering on a sports team really.

I prefer to live my life by what I can do and change, not how other people choose to live there’s.
If someone wants to put in the effort, achieve that feat and then ask for more challenge, I say more power to them. As an mmo player you can choose to engage with those “toxic” as you put it players or not.

As to OP’s claim he has done it… I call BS but out of curiosity, what patch did your server launch on? Was ZG out?

WOW! I heard you hit R14 before level 50 AFTER the system was removed while round house kicking Chuck Norris, too!

Seriously dude, you may want to check the white stuff you put in your coffee, I don’t think its sugar.

From what I remember… no it wasn’t. But the other raids came into play faster than normal.

I don’t drink coffee. Chuck Norris got pwned by Bruce Lee.

I dont know how being the first 60 on the server is “already established” but hey who am I

You’re correct I take back what I said, always thought he did that run on an older server. Did a bit more research and found that information was incorrect.

That’s a very nice way of saying “no life neckbeard”.

You keep saying this. WoW is not a real profession. Begging for money on streams doesn’t count. Winning tournament money I suppose counts. But where’s the tournament money coming from for Classic? There are no arenas.

Best of luck to you. Just don’t completely neglect your body’s needs and try and take it easy on the energy drinks.

No, I mean you didn’t kill Rag week 1 on a server in 2005. It didn’t happen. You can just look at the server list from 2005 and use google wayback machine to dig up the forums from those time frames and look and see if Rag was killed.

No server in 2005 had a first week Ragnaros kill. Didn’t happen.

First Rag kill didn’t happen until April 25th, 2005 by .

Here is a list of all the servers released in 2005 AFTER the world first Ragnaros clear so you would have had to have been on one of these servers.

April 28
-Gurubashi (PvP, PST)
-Skywall (PvE, PST)

May 2
-Smolderthorn (PvP, EST)

July 21
-Kalecgos (PvP, PST)
-Moonrunner (PvE, PST)

July 23
-Ursin (PvP, PST)

July 27
-Dark Iron (PvP, PST)

August 6
-Greymane (PvE, CST)

August 23
-Detheroc (PvP, CST)
-Wildhammer (PvP, CST)
-Staghelm (PvE, CST)

September 13
-Emerald Dream (RP-PvP, CST)
-Maelstrom (RP-PvP, CST)

September 14
-Twisting Nether (RP-PvP, CST)

October 19
-Cho’gall (PvP, CST)
-Kael’thas (PvE, CST)
-Kirin Tor (RP-PvE, CST)

November 8
-Agamaggan (PvP, CST)
-Azshara (PvP, EST)
-Malfurion (PvE, CST)
-Lightninghoof (RP-PvP, CST)
-Frostmourne (PvP, Oceanic)
-Khaz’goroth (PvE, Oceanic)

November 30
-Aegwynn (PvP, CST)
-Akama (PvP, CST)
-Chromaggus (PvP, CST)

December 16
-Gul’dan (PvP, CST)

Not one single server here had a Molten Core clear the first week of their release.

I can confirm Aegwynn for sure because I was in the guild that got server first MC kill about a month after it went live .

Just because people will complain about it doesn’t mean that 1% of the player base shouldn’t down rag in week 1. And being extremly good at the game is labeled as being toxic now? Oh, how the progressives have infected gaming.

Why do you care why I care, OP? /mic drop
