You said you wanted to feel powerful. The night elf civilians outfought the entire Horde. You aren’t pleased because nothing will ever be enough for you.
8.1 really did do a disservice to Tyrande and Malfurion and well the Kaldorei in general.
Hard to feel powerful when most of the NE race still ended up being burned alive, including innocent children
And this mattered how when the Horde’s numbers were ignored in the very same expansion? In the end the Horde still had a stronger military than the Alliance, and the Night Elves still got genocided.
Neither Sylvanas nor her loyalists were ever brought to justice for it, the Night Elves also never got their lands back and they’d never get a new capital city. They also most likely won’t get their people back.
This is something that will hang over the Horde for the rest of the game.
“Night Elves could beat you if not for plot armor. The civilians alone are better warriors than every race in the Horde combined together into one army.”
Let me put it this way. Would it make you feel powerful to land a few hits on an opponent, only to be kicked in the head, lose consciousness, and when you wake up you realize you lost the fight? And to boot you aren’t allowed a rematch. That’s how bfa felt for the Night elves, and to an extent the Alliance.
Sadly they’ll likely suffer the same fate as the worgen, to be stuffed in to Stormwind and ultimately forgotten about. And they’ll have tyrande make a cameo on occasion to try and placate the NE fans
To be honest the second I found out about the Night Warrior powers slowly killing Tyrande, I never expected Tyrande to be alive anymore after SL so I’m prepared for that too. Atleast Genn is safe for now so maybe take that as a positive thing lol
Oh dear, lets not remind blizzard that the old man is still alive and doing well. They’ll do something drastic with him next
To be fair, if they kill off Tyrande and Genn they could just delete the Alliance. All other leaders are brainless cowards, even Jaina that was retconned at the end of bfa to love the Horde. It’s a shame what the Alliance has become, I wish the Worgen and Night Elves would be their own faction instead of having to listen to some stupid 14 year old boy.
His stupidity should have gotten himself killed against Garrosh in MoP already, shame he didn’t finish the job. The Wrynn bloodline has to die in order for the Alliance to improve.
Horde players keep complaining about Baine, meanwhile the Alliance has like 5 Baines that are even worse.
Numbers are ALWAYS ignored.
The Draenei, worgen and Night Elves would’ve made for an awesome faction. Would have the strong warrior women, the beast men patrolling the woods, and the Draenei with their technology.
I feel this could be applied to a huge number of raid bosses we’ve killed in the past, but here we are.
Awww, I’m sorry that the entirety of the game’s lore revolves around the Night elves and that the night elf NPCs are demigods who roll everything. That must be very hard.
I have a tent. It’s a cool tent at least.
No but seriously, prove me wrong. Thrall lasers Deathwing. Varian and Taran Zhu spare Garrosh (and Thrall kills him later.) Gul’dan gets yeeted, and then killed by illidan. Illidan runs off with Sargeras. Ashzara gets sucked into the shadows. N’zoth gets wrecked by Wrathion, then a cutscene laser.
The PC’s haven’t defeated an expansion boss in a fight since Wrath of the Lich King, and they’re not going to start now. so just sit back and watch the waifu fight.
Not even that, as Tirion delivered the finishing blow to Arthas and shattered Frostmourne.
To be fair, it IS your character that fires the laser, even IN said cutscene.
True, but major lore characters were, and I quote, “Counting on it.”
Jaina and Mekkatorque put themselves in that situation and others, I suppose.
I hope we kill both.
Sylvannas is actually doing “good”, the developers are pulling a Kerrigan. It feels like Kerrigan’s story arc.
Behold I have secret inside knawledge. Sylvie will die huzzah. No for real yall that have been arguing for five hours about the horribly written story of a literal barbiedoll dress up simulator video game need to take a break and reevaluate things.
Even if that were true and I’m not saying it is, this is the “Story Forum”. I’m trying to make it a personal goal to complain less, be less resentful, and appreciate what I do have.
Maybe you should do the same.
Kinda cringe to make things so personal over a game
