Why we should learn from the 9.1.5 patch

the way i look at it is it’s a slap to our faces. first they used covid as an excuse for SL which i mean it didn’t affect everyone hell i worked through the entire thing; everyone thanked all the nurses/doctors and all that but what about the rest of us? the regular people who worked through the covid, who had to deal with covid cases of our own at work and still work through that bs?

now you got this and they imho using it as an excuse because of the lawsuits. given yes it is both serious issues to take into consideration BUT what im saying is money don’t sleep. you got to deal with the bs and still grind for the paper at the same time not give us this half @ss’d content and push out a cat mount. im not against it im just saying it’s more like an insult then anything.

i don’t keep up with the whole fiasco so idk all the details or work for blizz assuming they went on strike at some point which i think they did? yea that will set you back some but didn’t they state long ago that they had setup content in advance?

Umm, fortunately, nobody in my family is racist.

9.1.5 is definitely a strong move in the right direction. But four months late as far as content goes.

I’m sure I’ll enjoy the heck out of 9.1.5 when I’m playing the week or two before 9.2. Assuming 9.2 brings something that fixes the casual reward structure within the new content launch.

If 9.2 is just catch up mechanics to get my character into an organized raid or a M+ ladder climb, it’ll tell me that the devs don’t consider my demographic worth investing in, and it’ll likely be a patch I don’t experience.

9.1.5 does a whole lot to fix the systems issues with Shadowlands. Does absolutely nothing to address the destruction of LFG/LFR’s value for casual play.

It’s still Korthia or organized group content for character growth. Anything beyond that has no purpose in this game anymore.

Theres nothing to tear down.

language is a social construct so you should stick to your principles and stop talking

I disagree, I think games like media need to evolve with the times, there were things acceptable 100 years ago, that aren’t acceptable today,

I honestly think if people have a problem with them removing pervy inappropriate flirts and whatnot, made its time for them to have a bit of a self-reflection.

Removing flirts is the stupidest thing they’re doing.

What they should be doing is focusing on adding new content, fixes glitches. Not playing the woke game.

could be but almost every post is contrarian in some shape way or form. Better off just to slap the person on ignore and not give them any attention.

Lesson one: never underestimate Blizzard’s ability to make something worse than the selfie patch.

In my opinion, they need to be doing both. There is no question they have potential to make amazing games, I admit I go back to Draenor content often to explore the place and have a fun time, as the artwork is incredible and amazing. I hope they can continue that in future expansions, it completely blows me away. FF14 can’t compare to what Blizzard are capable of, as Blizzard can make entire continents to explore and stuff.

But even FF14 they are doing “woke” things like recently they updated their harassment policy, which in my opinion didn’t really need changing as the rules are already pretty strict, but its no big deal.

I dont care about ff14. That’s not what this discussion is about.

There was nothing wrong with the flirts or even the spit emotes. Anyone who found issues with something that literally didn’t affect them needs to grow thicker skin and stop being offended by every little thing. Its pathetic.

I’m done with this discussion though. I said my piece.

There’s nothing wrong, for you. Clearly many of us including the devs disagree with you, so just take the L and be quiet about it?

No they didn’t disagree. They’re doing this to placate the lawyers.

I’m not going to be quiet about this, especially when it affects something I pay for.

Source of this? Do you really think every single developers that post on their private account were told to lie?

Where’s your source? You wanna play that card, then back up your claim that everyone disagreed.

Until then take your own advice and be silent troll. Especially when you refuse to post on a main.
