Why Was /Spit removed?

It was a joke. I literally pick up snails off of the sidewalk so they don’t get stepped on.

No you can’t

Awe yes, the era of “Corporate Helicopter Servicing and Pandering”.

2016 - present day

It doesn’t work cross faction though.

It would say
“Teksuo makes some strange gestures”
or something close to that

it was removed because of ppl in the burning crusade classic. Basically they saw that boosting/buying store mounts in what should had been a server that is reflected as a reflection of what BC had once been as a wrong doing in ppl’s eyes and they disrespected those that paid for those services.

Store mounts.

Lol, no. I meant Athene.

In short, feelings were hurt, the community was punished.

I just noticed this : /

Cuz snowflakes’ feefees got hurt. Even though there are a ton of other insulting emotes still useable lol. Blizzard is not run by people with functioning brains.

It was removed because it was found out that the male staff was too drunk at work that they literally had to crawl to their desks. Then they passed of their workload to the female staff while making perverted comments.

In an attempt to cleanup their image. They removed a bunch of stuff.

People don’t know how to turn off emote notifications so they cried.

How do you do that? Not that I want to, but I didnt know WoW had that functionality.

Open the chat settings (right click the tab, Filters > Settings) and deselect the emote option.

Second post sums it up, OP.
People are way too sensitive for the general public, much less the internet.

They don’t use the ignore feature then blame someone else their feelings got hurt over some pixels.

I will never get over how they blocked /spit immediately after it became a problem for their whales, before they wordblocked the Gamer Word.

This is the biggest issue I see in all online interactions. Ignore and block options have existed pretty much since the inception of online sociability, yet many do not use it then cry foul about things that make them uncomfortable.

lol good point

It’s such a simple thing. You see I /ignore all Vulpera players on sight. It’s not even a problem. I never have to look at their insane thoughts ever again. It’s so easy.

Probably because spitting on people is assault IRL.
