Thanks. As I said, I wont use it as many emotes are cute and fun. And besides, people can still target you and say things to you. For example.
I target X player and /say “I expectorate in your general direction!”.
Emotes are just easier I guess.

It was a good time before Blizzard cucked out before fixing the damn game. If the game was in a good state it wouldn’t matter how much store mounts they sell. But they put out more store mounts than bug fixes and it’s obvious they are milking the paypigs for all they are worth before pulling the plug.

This guy was 100% correct. I dont see why he was flagged.
It was the mount that those of us who had bought the TBC version with the pet and mount that kept getting spit on by players because Asmongold told them to.
It is truth. Asmongold told everyone to spit and harass anyone who had the mount.
So it is Asmongolds fault and his alone that /spit got removed. That is a fact. You can look it up. And you people still think he is a good guy? When he actively encourages people to bully and harass those who have something he does not agree with and then everyone else is made to suffer because of his actions, yea… not a good person. Not in the slightest.

Because people were spitting on Sylvanas, and that upset Danuser.
Same reason he had the Cata line where kromush called sylvanas a B*tch removed.

I remember seeing threads with people complaining that people kept using /spit on them if they were riding a new store mount, so maybe that was part of it?
Wokeness has nothing to do with logic or rationale thought.

Stop making up lies. It was removed because of Asmongold and that’s that. You can look it up if you dont believe me. You can even see his multiple tweets telling people to “spit on and harass the losers” who got the mount. It was him and him alone that did that.
So he basically told all his fans to bully and harass and spit on people for having something he didnt agree with…

I had emotes turned off since around Mists of Pandaria when I started doing more Player vs Player content because of the emote spam from the opposite faction with custom emotes; blocked your chat screen and were just plain bizarre (nibbling on your ear was the most popular one I saw). I know Blizzard has changed it since, but far easier to disable all emotes in chat and turn off their sounds so I don’t have to hear the toys that force /train and /cheer.
