Why Was /Spit removed?

It was a lizard mount.

Green Warp Stalker.

It’s partially because some players got upset that other players where buy from the store. The first group would use the emote to harass the second group. As is often the case with these changes, when players can’t control themselves/show some respect/show self restraint, Blizzard finds they must step in to stop the bad behavior.

it’s funny that you say this because I sure do recall a number of threads from players who were upset about the removal and were demanding to speak to the managers and wanting people fired.

I didn’t know Steve Bannon was a content creator. I thought he was just a gold seller.

Why is bald bad? I think many men and women can pull it off. Asmon has hair I don’t understand the bald jokes.

I think it’s more funny watching his fans try to cope after finding out he really doesn’t care as he :whale::whale2::whale::whale2: it up in Lost Ark on their dime.

It’s pretty simple. /Spit was used a lot almost exclusively to incite other players while the other emotes are not.

Why would they keep an emote that is most popularly used to incite others?

Ok stop killing things. Don’t attack anything. If you attacked me in the physical realm, I would fold you in to a pretzel. So stop doing everything. Just farm herbs.

I don’t know. They still have NPCs spitting at each other and even spit debuffs.

God I love being /spit on. I get really /thirsty sometimes and Im glad other players can help me quench my thirst for attention.

You can blame Asmongold and the manchild bootlickers that follow him.

It was removed because we can’t have things when manchild use it in the most negative way possible… Then the content creator that did it asked for more subs/primes/donations so he could gamble in lost ark which is extremely ironic lmao, wonder if they are spitting on themselves now.

Oh, no, big guy on the internet here! This is why it was removed, you big, strong, tough guys.

I agree, flexing over the webs is kinda sad. I never take threats seriously when they are made over the intertubes.

I <3 that!

I mean you can still /e it so there wasn’t much point to it’s removal at least to me. But it seems to upset a lto of people that don’t realize this. I still think /spit was mostly funny.

People started using /spit on store mount players and boosted players.
There was even a mod to do it automatically for you.

The one thing you can’t do in World of Warcraft though, is attack Bobby’s Yacht fund.
Something clearly had to be done, not because the boosty boiz had their feelings hurt, but because players were incentivized to not give Blizzard extra money.

So they removed /spit entirely when used on players.

This shows two things
1 - The /spit meta to combat the store was semingly actually having an effect.
2 - Blizzard will actually step in and change things when their bottom line is threatened.
