Why was my ticket merged and then reply time jumps up 4 extra days?

I had a issue and not sure where it fits into, its a game bug that has affected my character and unable to resolve myself. Anyway I put it under Wow account issue i believe and also battle net account issue. Someone has merged my Wow ticket into the battle net ticket which makes no sense instead of just replying.

The other issue is the reply time originally was 1 day and 15 hrs, not bad I can live with that. Now it says 5 days and 16 hours, how can someone view my ticket and merge rather than just answer it and then merge? Seems like someone from the WoW CS team just wanted their numbers to look good rather than to help a customer.

The time isn’t a countdown, it’s an ETA based on the longest waiting ticket at that time (it could be a whole different ticket catagory).

Also, important to note - GM’s don’t fix bugs.

Its effect bug has had on char so they should be able to

If this is about your raid ID, Like others have said they can not fix it! Gm’s can not reset raid id’s and they can not correct bugs

A contributing factor in the extended response times is the number of tickets being submitted for issues that GMs can’t resolve.

Like resetting raid IDs.

GMs can only fix what the Devs permit them to. The Devs have made the decision that the GMs are not able to “fix” Raid IDs.

It’s not as simple as may seem. It is possible that changing the Raid ID could corrupt your character.

Yes, they see that you opened two tickets for the same issue, so they merged the tickets into one. That way, when a GM gets to your ticket, they will see both tickets and have all the info you gave.

And then when they reply to you with the correct response of “GM’s are unable to fix bugs, so you’ll need to post in the Bug Report Forum”, it will resolve both tickets at once.

You have also received a response in this forum already:

The “^^ This I’m afraid” is referring to a response that GM’s cannot assist with raid ID’s. Your raid ID will reset on Tuesday.

Best thing you can do is close your ticket on this issue! File a bug report and wait for Tuesday when your raid id will reset on it’s own.

They will not reset your raid id for you!

I mean if they are unable to assist I would wish to refund my most recent purchases and close the account. I can’t commit to a game when their bug ruins my enjoyment completely. Hence why it’s an active ticket if I hear from them they can’t do it fine I’ll accept it, but then I wish to get it refunded as it’s to hard to commit to a game that can’t make good on their faults.

Bugs happen, Just about every game out there has bugs from time to time.

You would have to request a refund! But keep in mind many things are not refundable or very time based.

Good news this is not likely to happen again.

I know for a fact they can not help you. Reseting a raid id is not something a gm can do!

They are not.

You can always request a refund, but if you don’t meet the conditions for a refund, you will not receive it.

But…this issue has nothing to do with a bug. On your raid night, a bug prevented your group from advancing further, but the problem is that your personal schedule prevented you from returning. Blizzard can’t control your own schedule.

You killed Lord Marrowgar, and had a chance at loot from him. If they were to reset your raid ID, then you could join another raid, but you’d then get a second chance at loot from Lord Marrowgar. If they do it for you, then they do it for everyone, and it becomes a free-for-all of excuses to delete Raid ID’s.

As the game progressed, they were able to alter the raid ID’s to prevent this, but it didn’t happen during Wrath. Playing Classic means that you have to deal with the systems as they were back then.

You already have heard that, in your previous thread.

They can certainly close your whole accont not just your wow account if you realy want to go that route but i want to warn you if you realy want to nuke your account after 30 days incase u change your mind ecerything geta errased permanatly.

In your first post your guild was able to keep going the next day but for some reason you could not join them.

So blizzard can not help your schedule problem that you ran into because of this issue. Good thing is Tuesday it will reset and you will get another chance to try again then.

When a bug like that happens everyone leaving for about 30 minutes will usually cause a soft reset and let you keep going.

The tickets were merged because you had two tickets about the exact same issue.

If it is a situation that our staff can assist with, you’d be correct. I’m sorry, but in this case it is unlikely that we are able to assist as we generally do not clear or update Raid IDs.

You are welcome to submit a refund request, if the most recent purchase qualifies we should be able to help.
