The counterplay to dk cleaves gripping in and cleaving your entire team was simply playing max range but now you just get gripped from across the map and it’s unavoidable no matter what you do.
Anyone personally know any blizzard game developers that can explain the design decision of increasing deathgrip to 40 yards?
it’s always been a nice qol talent but when it’s competing with a hard stun and a 70~90% (depending on the xpac) slow, it’s really hard to justify taking it outside of leveling
I’m not complaining I was just curious about the ability since I never seen it before . Mes wasn’t even what I was concerned about he wasn’t playing a cleave the last game I fought him his spriest died in the opener. What I’m more concerned about is the dh dks and dk ferals that can casually yoink anyone across the map with 0 counterplay. Even if I ground 1 grip they have another.
Personally I don’t use it, but since you’re a shaman I have zero sympathy for you since they trashed our self-healing kit. Good luck getting people who care about a tool kit that barely makes Dk’s somewhat relevant.
If there’s a death knight in your game they’re probably doing the highest single target damage (with the least amount of effort) outside of maybe feral druid right now.
I’m literally an rsham but I still don’t know what he’s talking about because dh dk farms demo ele and farms turbo and will has big advantage into rsham sp x depending on the third
I mean if you get gripped into the open(which is unavoidable) you cannot just sit in ghost wolf and run back to the pillar while you and your team are getting cleaved for 10 globals straight. Ghost wolf doesn’t give you complete freedom you are still semi slowed it just prevents you from being slowed past a certain %
